Phillip Phillips Postpones 9 Dates Of His College Tour Due To Health Issues

Phillip Phillips has been busy playing six shows a week, but after being on the road for a while, his health got the best of him, and now, his doctor told him that he needed to chill the heck out!
The American Idol season-11 winner underwent surgery last year for kidney stones, and while he unfortunately has ongoing kidney issues on top of exhaustion and dehydration, he’s not at 100% right now.
According to a source, Phillip has “been feeling run-down,” so when the singer took to his Facebook to notify us that he has to reschedule his remaining nine dates of his college tour, we were not the least bit surprised.
Phillips said:

“Hey guys, due to doctor’s orders I have to postpone my last few tour dates. They will be rescheduled! Looking forward to seeing you all on on the John Mayer tour this summer!”

The 22-year-old star was also supposed to attend the American Idol finale next week, but taking his condition into mind, we’re not quite sure if that’s gonna happen.
Plus, since his doctor advised him to rest up, and because he’s gonna finish his tour, it would be in his best interest to lay low for a bit.
