Target collaborations are literally the gifts that keep on giving.
On the heels of revealing their Neiman Marcus holiday collection, the bulls eye retailer announced their next designer collaboration will be another Michelle Obama favorite: Prabal Gurung!!!
The limited-edition, 80 piece collection will reflect the designer’s aesthetic of “impeccable tailoring and feminine silhouettes” and includes everything from dresses to shoes to handbags and jewelry.
When asked about the task of creating a collection for the masses, Gurung was up for the challenge, explaining:
“I believe collaborations are important to remaining fresh and relevant in the fast-moving world of fashion and most importantly, they allow you to reach a wider audience. For me, it is an exciting challenge to interpret my aesthetic into a mass-produced product…Mixing ├óΓé¼┼ôhigh├óΓé¼┬¥ and ├óΓé¼┼ômass├óΓé¼┬¥ fashion is the modern way of dressing. People don├óΓé¼Γäót wear head-to-toe high-end designers anymore. These types of collaborations allow people to experience designer clothes at an affordable price, while still maintaining the look of luxury. So I worked side-by-side with Target to create the highest quality product at amazing prices. I think you├óΓé¼Γäóll be impressed with the level of quality in the collection.”
Fashionistas can expect to pay anywhere between $12.99 to $199.99 for Prabal’s love-inspired collection when it drops right before Valentine’s Day on February 10th.
