Randy Jackson Is Leaving American Idol!

This American Idol judge will no longer be a part of this show!
Even though he was a fixture on the long running reality television series!
Randy Jackson is finally hanging up his hat from American Idol after thirteen whole seasons on the show, and we’ll definitely be sorry that Randy is leaving.
It hasn’t been an overall exceptional last few months for Randy who has struggled through a myriad of problems.

But we have a feeling once he’s away from this big corporate machine money maker of a hit show, he may be able to finally collect his thoughts and decide what his next career move should be!
Here’s what Randy said in a statement:

“After 13 seasons, I felt now was the perfect time to leave American Idol. I’m proud to have been a a part of a series that discovered some incredible artists and will go down in history as one of the most successful television shows ever. A true original, Idol started it all. Onto what’s next.”

The company Fox released the following in a statement about the show’s longtime mentor and judge. They said:

“Randy has been such an integral part of American Idol since Day 1, both as a judge and as a mentor. He’s provided great advice and support, shaping the success of so many Idols we have discovered over the years. We wish him all the best in his next chapter. Randy will always be part of our Idol family, and we hope he’ll visit from time to time.”
