Rudy Giuliani CONFIRMS Donald Trump Reimbursed Michael Cohen For Stormy Daniels Pay Off -- & POTUS Defends That This Situation Is 'Very Common' Among Celebrities!

donald trump did reimburse michael cohen for stormy daniels pay off
Rudy Giuliani just spilled some MAJOR tea to Sean Hannity — whether he meant to or not.
On Wednesday evening, the former Mayor of New York confirmed to the conservative pundit that Donald Trump DID reimburse personal attorney Michael D. Cohen, for the money that was used to pay off Stormy Daniels (whose real name is Stephanie Clifford). Man, oh man.

It’s said the adult entertainer was paid $130,000 in exchange for her silence during the campaign about a previous affair with the president. Rudy’s admission, of course, directly negates Cohen’s original claim that the President knew NOTHING about the shady payoff.
Giuliani, who recently joined the Trumpster’s legal team, confessed to Hannity:

“I’m giving you a fact that you don’t know. It’s not campaign money. No campaign finance violation. They funneled [the $130,000] through a law firm and the president repaid it.”

Look how the story quickly changes. SMH.
The 73-year-old legal expert didn’t stop there, as he also spoke about the payoff with The New York Times. In fact, Rudy told The Times he had proof that the Cheeto-in-Chief had personally repaid Cohen. Although Giuliani relayed that Cohen set up the transaction “on his own authority,” the lawyer turned politician added:

“That removes the campaign finance violation and we have all the documentary proof for it… Some time after the campaign is over, they set up a reimbursement, $35,000 a month, out of his personal family account.”

Rudy shared similar sentiments with The Washington Post, as he admitted that Michael knew he’d be reimbursed by Trump for the “series of transactions.” He continued:

“The president was always going to make sure he got it back, and enough money to pay the taxes. There probably were other things of a personal nature that Michael took care of for which the president would have always trusted him as a lawyer. And that was paid back out of the rest of the money, and Michael earned a fee out of it… He trusted Michael, and Michael trusted him.”

It appears Team Trump is looking to throw Cohen under the bus! Or, at least, they’re trying to act like this hush money move was totally normal.
