The first rule about Rumblr is… it doesn’t exist!
This week the Internet and several news outlets went crazy reporting on a new app called “Rumblr” which was being described as Tinder meets Fight Club.
Well it only took a couple days for the people behind the new app to reveal it was all fake!
A creative-consulting agency named van Hughes were quick to take credit for the hoax; it turns out Rumblr was really just a “portfolio project” for the fledgling viral advertising company!
Of course, it’s not the only totally B.S. story to trick people in the Internet age!
