Ryan Lochte Finally Receives His Official Punishment From The U.S. Olympic Committee!

Ryan Lochte is finally facing the music!
Almost a month after Ryan caused international mayhem for lying about a robbery in Rio, the U.S. Olympic Committee handed down an official punishment for the scandal.

Per a TMZ report, a decision was reached to suspend Lochte for TEN MONTHS after a long debate between committee members. This is four more months of suspension than fellow swimmer Michael Phelps received for his two DUIs.
According to sources close to the situation, some members thought the punishment was too harsh because the athlete didn’t jeopardize any lives like Phelps did with his crimes. We imagine the length of the punishment had more to do with Ryan’s major lack of respect and disgraceful LIES, all of which brought great humiliation to the United States.
The bizarre part of this whole ordeal is that R.L. is still allowed to compete during his suspension. It all seems a little counterintuitive, to be honest.
As for the other swimmers involved in this case, they all received suspensions but to a lesser degrees. One teammate received four-months for his participation.
