ryan seacrest accuser demanded 15 million

Well this seems pretty shady.

It appears the woman who has accused Ryan Seacrest of demeaning and sexually aggressive behavior demanded $15 million from the American Idol host before having her lawyer head to the press. Eek.

The accuser, who previously worked as Seacrest’s stylist, has claimed that the TV personality engaged in various forms of misconduct between 2007 and 2010. Unsurprisingly, Ryan has vehemently denied these accusations.

Sources close to the situation have informed TMZ that the woman’s lawyer sat down with Seacrest’s attorney and read aloud a press release with damning allegations against the Live! cohost. It’s said Ryan was on the phone for this meeting.

Per the report, the complainant’s legal counsel threatened to release the statement if Ryan didn’t meet the alleged victim’s massive financial demand. Apparently, after the first financial demand was made, Seacrest’s lawyer told the accuser’s team to piss off. In response, the woman’s attorney said his client would be willing to settle for a seven figure sum. It’s unclear if the first financial demand was made prior to the sit down or during it.

Unfortunately for the accuser, she had little leverage against Ryan and his team as the statue of limitations have run out on all of her claims. Thus, both civil and criminal cases are off the table. The only leverage the stylist had was that she could significantly embarrass the 42-year-old.

Nonetheless, the lawyer for the accuser has since denied that a $15 million demand was made. Instead, he told the webloid that his client simply “wanted an apology from Ryan and validation of what had happened and what she got was a complete rejection of the allegations and a request that she not go forward with an interview with NBC investigators.”

Hmmm, very inneresting.

What do YOU think?? Did the victim try to sell her silence??
