Oh boy… it sounds like Nicki Minaj just may need to check herself!
After she caused quite the commotion on Wednesday night, by showing up nearly 15 minutes late to American Idol’s first live show, Friday might not be the only pink Nicki will be seeing!
While Ryan Seacrest kept his cool during the show as he joked about Nicki├óΓé¼Γäós lateness — all while judges Keith Urban and Randy Jackson awkwardly responded and Mariah Carey looked completely unamused — what happened backstage was a whole other story!
An insider revealed:
“Ryan was the angriest and Nigel [Lythgoe] was mad too. Nicki knew better.”
As for Mimi’s reaction?
The source continued:
“Mariah was just annoyed, she’s really over [Nicki]. They were all just embarrassed that it happened.”
Embarrassed AND shocked! The insider spilled that everyone backstage was really surprised at the stunt she pulled and that it definitely made Nicki look “really bad.”
As much as we love Nicki, gurl is getting paid MILLIONS to be on the show… and that includes being on time, especially for something as important as a live taping!
Hopefully she won’t let something like this happen again, because although we’re sure producers love the dramz she brings in, we’re certain they won’t let frequent tardiness fly!
Mariah, consider yourself out-diva’d! Well, this time around, at least! LOLz!
