Kelly Ripa didn’t hold back on Wednesday when she asked her new cohost Ryan Seacrest if he’s ever popped the question to a significant other before.

The 42-year-old, who is currently linked to model Shayna Terese Taylor, responded by saying that he once was super close to getting engaged, but didn’t go through with it:
“I did get close and I didn’t do it and it was the right move. But I love the idea ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and I know you’re going to ask me ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ of marriage because my parents have been married for 47 years, and so I have this thing ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and you’ve been married 21.”
As you know, Kelly recently entered the second DECADE of marriage with husband Mark Consuelos. So amazing!
But for Ryan, he says he’s hopeful that it will happen for him one day. Meanwhile, his ex Julianne Hough is preparing to tie the knot to hockey player Brooks Laich. Poor guy.
