People be hatin’ on Sandra Lee, but she’s having none of it!
The host of Semi-Homemade and author of 23 cookbooks has been called an elitist and out of touch.
Responded Sandra:
“I think everyone needs to lighten up. Our job is to serve the overextended homemakers, our job is to make their life better.”
She also addressed the people who criticize her for not cooking from scratch:
“The food world is something I know, and something I know top to bottom. People think I just know how to open a box or can. For the food purist, that’s bad, and from homemakers, that’s applauded.”
We├óΓé¼Γäóre not sure where this criticism is coming from! Everyone has their own style of cooking — if you don├óΓé¼Γäót have anything nice to say about Sandra├óΓé¼Γäós style, go watch something else!
