Shakira Doesn't Mind If You Steal Her Music

While Lily Allen is on a MAJOR tirade about peeps illegally downloading her music, Shakira thinks it’s cool and has no problem with her fans taking her royalties from her.
In a recent interview, she explained that she felt “closer” to the “fans and the people who appreciate the music” when her music is downloaded, illegal or otherwise. She goes on to say:
“It’s the democratisation of music in a way. And music is a gift. That’s what it should be, a gift.”
That’s a nice way to look at it.
Course, it’s easy to think of it that way when you have MILLIONS stowed away in the bank!
