Because Stevie Nicks is making her white witchy debut on American Horror Story: Coven tonight!
In the episode flawlessly titled, The Magical Delights Of Stevie Nicks, Stevie meets swamp witch Misty Day (Lily Rabe) who simply idolizes the Fleetwood Mac goddess!
Stevie is sent to Miss Robichaux’s Academy For Exceptional Young Ladies by Fiona (Jessica Lange) who brings her to to meet Misty – basically, as a way of getting inside the witch’s head and feeling out her potential supreme powers!
So exciting!
In a new interview, Miz Nicks is finally talking about her on-set experience with Coven, revealing:
“I just want to put on a fantastic long black dress and have beautiful hair and wind and really high heels. I just want to walk through the beautiful white house and say “Hello, witches!”‘ So, I get to New Orleans and in New Orleans, I get this script and it is not just me walking through. My assistant reads it out loud to me at 3 in the morning and I’m pretty horrified because I’m going, ├óΓé¼╦£Do they know that I’m not an actress? Has anybody told them that I’ve never, ever done anything like this in my whole life?'”
But luckily for the songstress, everyone welcomed her non-acting with open arms and she was fearless:
“I really just said, ├óΓé¼╦£OK, you know what? I’m here now and I’m going to pull it off. I said a little prayer and I just walked straight into it with my head up and said, ├óΓé¼╦£I’m going to do this.'”
To top it all off, executive producer Ryan Murphy dished she’ll be singing two of her famous songs – so fans are totes in for a bewitchingly awesome treat!
Ahhh!
