New Survey Reports Less Than HALF Of America's Youth Identify As 'Exclusively Heterosexual' -- Mind Blown!

Well, well!
Over the weekend, it was reported that a new survey claims members of Generation Z were viewed as more “open-minded” and “permissive” than millennials. Hmm, very inneresting!
In case you forgot, the youngsters in Generation Z are between the ages of 13 and 20. Not to mention, it is said that only 48% of these kiddos identify as “exclusively heterosexual”. Whoa!

Apparently, the tested group was asked to rate on a scale between zero and six (where zero was calculated as “exclusively heterosexual” and six was linked to being “exclusively homosexual”) and over a third of the Gen Z’ers selected a number in between the spectrum.
The report’s author J Walter Thompson Innovation Group states that this means the responders were indicating they were bisexual to some degree. In fact, only less than a quarter of millennials identify the same way.
This news isn’t necessarily shocking as Hollywood’s up-and-comers, like Rowan Blanchard and Jaden Smith, have recently sparked conversations about sexual orientation and gender stereotypes in the media.
As for gender identity, 56% of the tested group shared that they knew someone who used neutral pronouns like “they” or “them”. Unfortunately, only two fifths of young adults between the ages of 23 and 34 could say the same. Really?
What’s even more impressive is that when asked if public spaces should included gender neutral bathrooms 70% said YES! Bravo!
The report concluded:

“We’re even more confident about this for this particular survey because we see clear patterns across the different questions that show that Gen Z has a more complex and less binary approach to gender than millennials.”

It looks like children REALLY are the future. Thank goodness!
