After the tragic passing of Patrick Swayze, many stars have been opening up about their cherished memories of the late actor.
However, Suzanne Somers, in a controversial move, is criticizing Swayze’s cancer treatments, saying that it was the chemotherapy that caused his death.
A known advocate of alternative health methods, Somers is reported as saying:
“They took a beautiful man and put poison in his body. Why couldn’t they have built him up nutritionally and gotten rid of the toxins? I hate to be controversial…but I have to speak out.”
While Suzanne probably meant well, especially as a survivor of breast cancer, we’re not sure if a comment like this should have been released.
Chemotherapy has been known to save many lives and pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of the disease. Patrick fought his illness bravely for a long time and comments like these could be hurtful to his grieving loved ones.
We kinda think she should have shut her trap!
