You know what they say about worshipping false Idols!!!
Although he lost American Idol, Constantine Maroulis can add more than a Tony nomination to his list of achievements since appearing on the show in 2005.
Take a gander at his newly inflated ego, almost comparable to Simon Cowell‘s.
In an interview with People, Maroulis stated that his appearance on Idol paved the way for future alt rock competitors.
“I definitely opened the door for people after me, like Chris Daughtry and David Cook and all those guys,” he gloated. “[Season 8 runner-up] Adam [Lambert]’s a good kid, I wish him all the best.”
