Martha Puts Her Tail Between Her Legs, Apologizes To Jessica Simpson

After pretty much telling Jessica Simpson that it was her own fault for losing her precious pooch Daisy to a coyote and that she should just suck it up and get a new dog, Martha Stewart has had a change of heart.

Martha, softening her tone, had a new message for Jess:

“I said that she should have been watching her dog more closely, but I feel very, very sorry for anybody that loses a pet. Jessica, I hope you find your pet, but if you don’t, I’m really sorry that you lost one.”

And there’s the gentle Martha we rarely know and love!
