How thoughtful!
The stars of Twilight felt it only fair to give back a little something to the millions of fans who shelled out $142 million this past weekend, making their new movie, New Moon, break all kinds of records and be #1 at the box office.
Though neither of them of them have time to keep up their own Twitter page, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson sent out a message to the fans via the movie’s official Twitter.
First, R-Patz expressed his gratitude, (read it aloud with an English accent for emphasis).
He says:
“Thank you for making New Moon number one. It’s very exciting to be a part of something embraced by so many people. I hope you are looking forward to Eclipse as much as I am.”
Oh, they are! They’ve gotten their fix and Twi-Hards are eager for more.
Then, K-Stew threw her two cents in (read it aloud sounding depressed and detached from any real human emotion):
“You have all proven you’re the most amazing fans in the world once again. I feel so lucky to be a part of The Twilight Saga and thank you for making us number one!”
Wasn’t that nice?!
