More Jennie!

jennie.jpg

A well-placed 90210 (2.0) insider has revealed exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Jennie Garth will be part of the show for a bit longer!

'Kelly Taylor' just signed on to do five more episodes of the spinoff.

This is in addition to the six she's already filmed.

What do U think?

Good news, right?

No news - yet - on whether Shannen Doherty will be extending her contract beyond her initial four episode agreement.

90210 (2.0) Can't Sustain The Heat

newcast__opt1.jpg

Uh oh!

Is it already time for a Tori Spelling appearance stunt????

Even though 90210 (2.0) was the highest rated show for Women 18-34 on Tuesday, its ratings future is looking a little bleak because it lost A LOT of viewers in its second week out.

This week, the show slipped 30 percent from its premiere among Men and Women aged 18-34 and 35 percent among Men and Women 18-49.

What can the show do to attract new viewers?

Are U planning on sticking with the 90210 (2.0)???

Helloooo GayFace!

gayface.jpg

So, yeah, we still haven't gotten around to watching the new 90210. It's been a busy week!

But, this hottie is one of the show's new stars.

His name is Adam Gregory - such a porn star name! - and he's got the loveliest case of gayface.

Is his character a queen on the show????

Though 90210 just started last week, Adam's already enjoying his newfound "celebrity." The TV star hit up the Skorcher lounge at the Verizon Wireless Samsung Style Villa at the Thompson Hotel on Saturday afternoon in Beverly Hills.

VMA SWAGging, everybody loves it!

Brenda Says Bring Back Brian Austin Green?!

90210.jpg

Shocking SHOCKING news!

Shannen Doherty actually has some love for one of her former 90210 co-stars.

She revealed to reporters in NY on Thursday night that she's a Brian Austin Green fan and wishes he could be part of the spinoff:

"Oh gosh, Brian Austin Green! I adore Brian, and Brian and I have always had a really good, strong relationship. The only thing about bringing him to 90210 is that I wouldn't want him not on The Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. He is so good and it's one of my favorite shows. So I want him back really badly, but at the same time, I love watching that show and I love watching him in it."

Is Megan Fox's man paying Brenda big bucks to say such nice things about him?

Screw Brian Austin Green.

Bring back Tori Spelling!!

90210 Rules in the Ratings!

newcast__opt.jpg

So, how did the much-hyped premiere of 90210 do in the ratings????

It did pretty good. Very good, actually!

The new 90210 debuted Tuesday evening at 34% higher than everyone's fav, Gossip Girl did just the night befoe.

90210's premiere has become the highest rated debut for a scripted series that the CW has ever had.

The two hour premiere was viewed by over 4.9 million people and got a 2.6 rating among adults 18-40.

And that's great news for the CW as they've been depending on the success of the new show to secure their network's survival. Many industry insiders feared that if the show wasn't a hit, the network might not have another year to try again.

But let's hope the show continues doing well. If people don't tune in next week, that could signal big problems for the network.

Tim Brooks, a TV historian, says "I think it's probably excessive to pin the survival of a network on a single show, but unquestionably the re-launch of this well-known franchise is going to be inordinately important in bringing some heat back to the CW, and forestalling further erosion of their audience. Youth-oriented networks, more than anyone, need heat."

So, will U be watching episode two?

Bitter Betty

Who does Kelly Kapowski think she is???!!

This weekend, ex-90210'er Tiffany Thiessen said she won't be joining the spinoff cast because she's 'in a different place':

"I don’t think so, I mean I wish them all the luck, but I’m just so in a different place right now. You know, it’s not that I don’t look back at that show with wonderful, amazing memories, but I’ve just gone in a different direction for me. But I think it’s wonderful.”

Puh-leeze.

Why didn't she just say they didn't call?

We never ever warmed up to her late addition to the original show.

Interloper!

It's all about the original cast!

The source also reports that Jason Priestly might be coming back to direct some (2.0) episodes:

“They’re talking to my people about seeing if they can slot me in over there. I directed more episodes of ‘90210’ than anybody. I directed 18 episodes.”

But, we really, really hope to see Tori Spelling on the spin-off.

The original ladies of 90210 rule!

Even Gabrielle Carteris, right???

Gossip Girl Delivers

gg2__opt.jpg

There's some good news for the execs at the CW.

After a really bad summer for the network, the second season premiere of Gossip Girl on Monday night got the show's highest ratings ever for them in all key demographics.

GG was able to return with a 6% increase in adult viewers since its premiere last yer. And it was also up 10% among the network's key demographics, people between 18-34.

It's also believed to have served as a strong lead-in to a show we're surprised is still on, One Tree Hill. Shockingly, its numbers were also up compared to its last season premiere.

But the big numbers for CW will come tonight with the premiere of its much talked about 90210.

We're still hoping it doesn't suck!

As for the other networks, Fox didn't do as well with its season premier of Prison Break. The show was down 21% from last year.

And NBC's Deal or No Deal came close in the ratings. They also finally managed to give away $1 million. Hope we didn't spoil it for you. If you even watch it.

With nothing else big going on tonight, it looks like 90210 will take the lead!
