Katy Perry has signed up to be one of the faboosh chart toppers to give a LIVE performance at this year's Billboard Music Awards!!
We are SO excited! This year's BBMAs would not be the same with out her. The girl with the purple hair was practically the billboard star of the year!! Her album, Teenage Dream, won Katy FIVE No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making her the ONLY female artist in history to get 5 hits on one album!
Clearly music enthusiasts are Blown Away with Carrie Underwood's fourth album. Clearly!
Because they've thrown it to the very top of Billboard's Top 200!!!
And since this is Carrie's third LP to top the chart, she's officially the third female country artist to accomplish such a feat - right behind Linda Ronstadt and Faith Hill!
It's only the debut week, and she's already sold 267,000 copies. You know what that means!! Blown Away is the second best-selling arrival of 2012, right after Madonna's MDNA.

The southern belle recently gushed:
"I mean, he's hot! He's a hot guy…We talk on the phone quite a bit, but we are not the kind of people who need to talk to each other every second of the day. We will text sweet little 'I love yous.' He will send me pictures of [my dogs] on a daily basis and makes sure that I know they are okay."
