No one can tell Melissa McCarthy how to live!
Despite facing a lot of pressure to conform to insane Hollywood standards, Melissa has always maintained a healthy attitude about her self-image. Even when the funny woman lost some weight, she did it for HER and not for the acceptance of others!
Speaking to People Magazine on her refusal to feel bad about herself in an industry that often shames women for their looks, the actress revealed:
"I love all of myself. My flaws, my shortcomings, my body parts – all of it. Especially after having kids, I just go, 'Well, the alternative's pretty bad.' I'll take me as I am."
Woot! It's obvious M.M. is a Boss on and off screen!

Watch Melissa McCarthy Tell Ellen DeGeneres She Is OFFICIALLY Returning For The Gilmore Girls Reboot — Despite EVERYTHING You've Heard!
Talk about exciting news!
Out of all the revival series out there and in the works, we're probably most excited about returning to Stars Hollow and catching up with all of our favorite characters in Netflix's Gilmore Girls reboot.
One person we thought we'd FOR SURE miss out on though was Melissa McCarthy who plays Sookie in the hit show, as she previously denied her involvement. In fact, the comedienne just recently sat down with People and Entertainment Weekly and denied a "secret cameo" and explained why she couldn't make a Gilmore Girls appearance work.
Well all that has changed as Melissa stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' talk show on Thursday (for an episode to air on Friday) and made her big reveal — she's OFFICIALLY coming back for GG!
The 45-year-old dished:
"There was a whole thing and I was going to be out of the country. And literally about an hour and a half ago we figured out that I am gonna go back and do it! And I am so excited!"

Melissa McCarthy Denies 'Secret Cameo' In Gilmore Girls Revival… And Explains Why She Isn't Coming Back!
For someone not involved with the project, she sure talks about it a lot…
While literally the entire rest of the original cast is returning for Netflix's 4-part revival later this year, the actress is once again denying rumors that she's secretly going to be joining Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham.
Melissa sat down with People and Entertainment Weekly Editorial Director Jess Cagle for an interview out Thursday where she confirmed (again) that Sookie will not be making a secret cameo, saying:
Watch Melissa McCarthy, James Corden, & Kristen Schaal HIGHlariously Try To Blow Bubbles While Wearing A Mouthguard! Ewwww!
Melissa McCarthy sure has been having a TON of fun on the late night circuit helping to promote her new film The Boss!
Well on Wednesday night, Melissa stopped by James Corden's even sillier Late Late Show where things got downright wacky when Corden, McCarthy, and Kristen Schaal all decided to wear mouthguards for the interview!
Ch-ch-check out the crazy shenanigans (below) as the celebs do their best to talk, drink, and blow bubbles while wearing the mouth pieces!
In an interview with People Magazine, Gilmore Girls star Yanic Truesdale (Michel Gerard) spoke out on filming the Netflix revival and what the environment is like now that Melissa has officially opted out. Naturally, Yanic has A LOT of feelings about the situation!
As for how he and the cast is dealing without their beloved Suki, the actor admitted:
"She's a friend, we see each other a lot and I love her to death. There's nothing I would like more than having her back on set, but it's completely out of my control. Her schedule is her schedule. There's a member of the family missing. She's very much loved and adored, by the fans, the co-stars and by me."
Aw! It's too bad McCarthy was too busy promoting The Boss to attend! It's obvious this wasn't an issue of not being asked back…
On a more positive note, Y.T. revealed that we'll learn a lot more about his sassy character this time around:
Melissa McCarthy & Husband Ben Falcone Get SO GROSS Competing In Stephen Colbert's Cooking Game Smooshed! Watch!
Like most of us, Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone are huge fans of cooking competition shows!
Stopping by The Late Show on Tuesday night, The Boss stars admitted to Stephen Colbert that they always wanted to compete on Chopped.
Luckily for them, the host had a late night version of the popular Food Network competition in store for them — only this one was a lot messier!
Colbert introduced Melissa and Ben to Smooshed, a 60-second cooking game where the chefs have to combine three random ingredients — along with access to the special Late Night pantry — into their own culinary creation!
Both competitors whipped up some pretty disgusting creations, and the best part was watching the host eat them both!

Melissa McCarthy Goes Full Disney Performing Colors Of The Wind From Pocahontas On Jimmy Fallon's Lip Sync Battle — Watch!
There are all kinds of wacky and crazy late night games that Jimmy Fallon plays but Lip Sync Battle is EASILY our favorite.
Even though the sketch has become its own show on SPIKE TV, Jimmy still likes to face off against celebs — and last night he met his match in Melissa McCarthy.
While Fallon gave a valiant effort by performing Melanie's Brand New Key and then Zayn Malik's Pillowtalk, the Bridesmaids actress eventually stole the show by dancing to DMX's X Gon' Give It To Ya and Colors of the Wind from the Pocahontas soundtrack.
Ch-ch-check out Melissa's incredibly HIGHlarious performance (below) and let us know who you think won!
