Meryl Can't Believe She Cursed On TV! Neither Can We!

meryl-cussing-on-tv-at-golden-globes-web.jpg

Someone may have been boozing too hard!

Meryl Streep was a bit flabbergasted when she won Best Actress at the Golden Globes when forgot her spectacles off stage.

That's when the sh*t hit the airwaves!

Meryl commented on her little slip up:

I can't believe I said 'sh-t on TV. I had such a good speech and I couldn't see it. Even if you held it in the front row, I couldn't read it because I left my glasses at the table.

If anyone can get away with saying that word on live TV, it's Meryl Streep! LOL!

Who Took Home The Gold?!-en Globes?! See The Complete List Of Winners From The 69th Golden Globes

golden-globes-winners-web.jpg

Aside from searing barbs from (Johnny Depp endorsed) Ricky Gervais, and more importantly MADGE, the Golden Globes did not give us the drama we've seen in previous years.

There were few suprise upsets or shockers but in the world of television, the little guys made a big splash over network TV, including Showtime's Homeland winning best TV drama and Joey Matt LeBlanc taking Best Actor for TV comedy!

Meryl Streep and George Clooney completed a mostly chalk night for film, taking home the acting honors in Best Drama while Michelle Williams and Jean Dujardin walked away with Best Comedy acting honors.

Meryl Streep Grabs The Globe For Best Drama Actress

meryl-streep-gg.jpg

Why was she so surprised! She's freakin' Meryl Streep!

A rock solid lady in her own right, Meryl Streep just won the Golden Globe for Best Drama Actress for her powerful performance in The Iron Lady!

She struggled a bit with her speech … but we're putting the blame on George Clooney for not running onstage with her glasses so she could read her speech! But once she got to the jab at Harvey Weinstein, she found her way!

P.S. - Um, did Meryl just drop the "S" bomb! The classiest woman alive has such a diiiiiiirty mouth! Ha!

Next stop — The Oscars!

Holy Anne Hathaway! Prada Co-Star Shares A Cool Trick To Honor Meryl Streep!

Okay, you know what. This is getting really ridiculous now. If that Judy Garland musical doesn't happen with Anne Hathaway in the lead, there is literally not a shred of decency in the world.

On a side note, we didn't think we could be more excited about the new Les Mis movie. Then we saw Anne do THIS!

Last night, the 2011 Kennedy Center Awards aired on PBS, celebrating the life's work of such extraordinary talents as Yo-Yo Ma, Neil Diamond, Barbara Cook and the legendary Meryl Streep.

Several of Meryl's dear friends and co-stars were on hand for the tribute, including Tracey Ullman, Robert De Niro, Mike Nichols, Kevin Kline, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and that damn Anne Hathaway, who in our opinion stole the whole friggin' show with her incredible musical tribute.

Check out the video (above) to watch the complete tribute, but if time is short, make sure you make it to mark 12:15 to see Anne in action!

Simply marvelous!
