Thatta girl.
When directing her new film W.E., a movie about the royal couple King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, Madonna leaned on two very important men in her life for support.
The singer-actress-director-amazing-lady-forever admitted that she turned to her ex-husbands Guy Ritchie and Sean Penn for directing tips.

Remember when Sean Penn went cray cray on a photographer???
He almost faced jail time for assaulting the paparazzi and breaking his camera. But luckily for him, all he had to do was endure probation and attend thirty six hours of anger management classes.
And according to his counselor, he's been doing fabulously!! He's even made a breakthrough, learning what may be the root of his anger!
Looks like he's not an angry bear anymore. Cuddly Penn… hmmm…

Sean Penn is a very philanthropic man.
However, one of his endorsements does not sit well with a former co-star.
Penn openly supports Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez and Maria Conchita Alonso took an opportunity to speak her mind while meeting him at LAX.

As we're sure you all have heard, Kim Kardashian isn't the only megastar helping out in Haiti this week. Oprah Winfrey traveled down to the devastated country with her friend Sean Penn, to visit with the people and bring some much needed attention to the area.
In footage from their trip (above), you can see them walking through a small town, taping an interview Oprah's new show and speaking to the press themselves about their trip to help Haiti.
Woman always did have a big heart! No doubt she's doing some real good there right now.

As of this week, Oprah Winfrey is in Port-au-Prince with Sean Penn to try and offer aid to the poor souls who were made homeless due to the 2010 earthquake. However, it seems her presence has done more harm than good, at least to one journalist who was caught in the crossfires of her security detail.
It seems Big O's camp didn't realize the man was a legit journalist, not a paparazzi. A fellow member of the press actually saw a guard drag the Haitian photographer into a small police station at the camp where Sean and Oprah were visiting. The police interrogated him for over and hour and a half, insisting that he erase his camera memory if he was to be let free. Finally, a senior police inspector arrived ordered the photographer released.
