Earlier this week, we mentioned that Petez Wentz said he and Asslee Simpson weren't taking a honeymoon.

Wentz said on Tuesday, "This [reported] baby has not been confirmed. The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees."

Turns out someone was fibbing!!!

Pete and the new Ashlee Went were indeed honeymooning this week - in the Caribbean. Turks and Caicos to be exact!

And, what's ESPECIALLY INTERESTING is that the photos of the two frolicking on the beach and enjoying married life didn't pop up until AFTER they had left.

They were sooo in on it!

Poppa Joe probably arranged it with the photo agency, that got exclusive pics, so that Ass and Pete would get a cut of the profits from the sale.

Hey, they pimped out the wedding, you'd only expect them to pimp out the honeymoon too!

The newlyweds kept their honeymoon short as they had to board a plane to New York City.

The two are in town since Pete's band, Fall Out Boy, are expected to perform at a young girls Sweet 16 party.

How many other lies have Simpson and Wentz been telling lately???

Pete Wentz called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show Tuesday morning and revealed some details about his wedding to Ashlee Simpson.

People magazine is gonna be pissed!

- Pete said that he and Ashlee did sign a pre-nup.

- He revealed that the couple are still in Los Angeles. "We are in the basement on our honeymoon. With blow-up palm trees."

- Legally, Ashlee is a Wentz, but she will be keeping Simpson professionally.

- He refused to confirm her pregnancy.

- He mentions that Tony Romo was at the wedding and dancing…with his grandmother!

It's nice to see some semblance of what we think actually happened seep out!

A wedding guest at the Simpson/Wentz nups claims that Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo barely interacted all night!

The guest revealed, "Jessica did not look happy the entire night. She just wasn't her bubbly self. She was very subdued, and she and Tony barely interacted the entire night, except for some dancing at the end."

This is a complete 180 from the shizz being pumped out by People magazine's 'inside' source.

"Kissing and holding hands throughout the night" our ass!

All we have to say is, remember…People magazine paid crap loads of money for the Ass wedding pics!!

They're in bed with the Simpson family and their "reporting" in this instance can't be trusted!

For the record, Jessica Simpson's rep has called the breakup talk surrounding Jess and Tony Romo "not true."

Uh huh!

To prove this point to the world, Poppa Joe Simpson a family insider reveals to People magazine, who paid over $1 million for Asslee's wedding pics, that Jess and Romo were super loved-up this weekend!

Once again, uh huh!

Tony and Yoko Romo were spotted together Friday on a sushi run in L.A., and later he was by her side again during her sister's wedding rehearsal dinner, which Jess hosted at her LA home.

The 'source close to the couple' reported, "They were very cozy and cute together. She's definitely not mourning John Mayer! She was in an amazing mood and so happy her sister was getting married."

That Poppa Joe is so eloquent!

The 'source' goes on to say that at the Asslee/Pete Wentz nups, "They (Jess and Romo) were kissing and holding hands throughout the night. He was very sweet to her. They were very much a couple."

Who knew Tony Romo was such a good actor???

AND, the newlyweds confirmed to guests at their wedding that Ass is indeed pregnant.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are enjoying their last few days before marriage.

Yesterday was Ashlee's "bachelorette," party which was held at popa Joe's and mom Tina's house in Encino.

Tents were spotted being placed on the property earlier in the day with balloons all over the place, in anticipation of this weekend's wedding.

Ass' party was fairly small, with only about a dozen or so of Simpson's friends there, but also in attendance was sister and former Tony Romo girlfriend, Jessica.

The party lasted just a few hours, ending before midnight.

You know, expecting mothers need their rest!

Looks like Joe Simpson is desperate to help Jessica save face at Ashley's wedding this weekend.

Poppa Joe reportedly got down on his hands and knees and begged Tony Romo to 'support the family'.

There's no official word in regards to Tony's response, but he is supposedly scheduled to fly into LA this weekend.

Really. What's the point?

It's pretty much common knowledge that Jess and Tony have broken up. He dumped her. Done.

We're not gonna buy the staged 'everything's really OK' routine.

Poor Ashlee Simpson!

While she has the happy news of her wedding and this baby to cheer her up, her music career is in the crapper!

Ass is going on tour this summer, and she is playing state fairs and House of Blues venues across America.

Ouch!

Simpson just went on a club tour earlier this year, and when she toured her last album, she played LARGE venues.

Now, she's at a House of Blues near you!

That must hurt.

We haven't been able to confirm it yet, but….

We're hearing loud whispers that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are getting married this weekend in…San Diego.

Speculation that the nuptials will be there reached a fever pitch on Thursday when suddenly single sister Jessica Simpson was spotted in S.D.
