LOLOLOLz!! Talk about awkward!
Remember this year's Super Bowl Half-Time show? Ya know the one with Bruno Mars & the Red Hot Chili Peppers?
Well, it looks like they weren't actually playing live. The Internet was freaking out about it, so we did some diggin — and there's some preeettttty solid proof.
Exihibit A - their instruments. If you check out the pics (below), you'll notice that none of the guitars are plugged in.
But here's the kicker, Flea, the band's bassist, took to his Twitter to let the world know the TRUTH about the whole situation!
She would be so touched and so proud of him!
Bruno Mars absolutely rocked the halftime Super Bowl XLVIII show!!
That performance's legacy should only grow now that we've learned he paid a very sweet tribute to his late mother.
Bruno's mom Bernadette passed away in the month of June in the year 2013 at the incredibly young age of 55 from a brain aneurysm.
Well, her son pulled of an extremely subtle and loving reference to his mom Sunday night. In fact we didn't even realize what he had done until afterwards!
If you may remember - Bruno started the show with a rousing drum solo. But plastered across his set was a giant heart with the name Bernadette written across them.
It's obvious that Bruno still very much loves his mother, and we're sure that his mom would be SO proud of the incredible job he did!
We know we are!!!
When Bruno Mars took the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, we couldn’t decide what we loved more: his singing and all-around musical talent or his golden blazer!
We’ll call it a tie. LOLz!
Thanks to his metallic and leather Saint Laurent jacket, the Treasure crooner turned an otherwise basic look of a crisp white top and classic pants into an exceptional ensem.
All it takes is one knockout piece!
Bruno polished off his outfit with his signature pompadour and that just about sums up how he heat up East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Oh, and his fine dance moves might have helped, too!

This year's Puppy Bowl was the tenth one since it all began.
And on its tenth anniversary, it did not disappoint!
The game itself was fantastic (you can see them train the Touchdown Dance with Michelle Obama HERE!), but things almost took a turn for the worse when things got a little too much like last year's Super Bowl…
There was a blackout at the Puppy Bowl! Just like last year's real one!
It got fans tweeting things like:
We guess Beyoncé is just too bootylicious to NOT appear in the Super Bowl.
Remember the 2013 Super Bowl when Queen Bey absolutely killed it during her halftime show performance?
Well, she just had to come back and do it again!
Don't believe us? We have proof! She shared a pic (above) and wrote:
Not too bad at all!
Bruno Mars hit the end zone with his stellar Super Bowl XLVIII halftime performance.
Bruno drummed, danced, and crooned his way through his hits Locked Out Of Heaven, Treasure, and Just The Way You Are.
Red Hot Chili Peppers' guest appearance can't even be compared to Destiny's Child 's reunion last year, but their performance of Give It Away did make for a nice 90s throwback moment.
Ch-ch-check out the ultra energetic show (above)!
They've combined two of our favorite things: musicals and sssssparkles! You thought we were going to say 'sports,' didn't you? Ha!
Saturday Night Live kept with their trend this year of cold opens, and this one was Super Bowl themed.
The halftime show got a fancy update, complete with third-time host Melissa McCarthy as Momma Pass!
Honestly, we would be TOTALLY okay if this was a part of the real halftime show! In addition to Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers of course!
Then, for her opening monologue, Melissa and Bobby Moynihan had an aerial battle
