Hey, if it ain't broke!
After taking an impressive fashion detour at the CMT Artist of the Year Awards, Carrie Underwood was back to embracing her old ways at the American Country Awards in Las Vegas on Monday night.
Wearing a sparkly tangerine Georges Chakra Couture shift dress with pearl embellishments, the 29-year-old stayed true to her glitter-loving country roots.
She completed the look with a shimmery gold clutch and gold fringed B Brian Atwood heels.
As much as we absolutely adore Carrie, we wish she would take more risks on the red carpet and not always look like she's a contestant at a Southern beauty pageant.
Come on, girl, give us a little more edge!

Taking a break from her usual princess-y get-ups, Carrie Underwood showed up at the CMT Artist of the Year Awards in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday night in a sleek black Katharine Kidd jumpsuit.
Applause! Standing ovation!
Though Carrie is ridiculously gorgeous no matter what, we’re kinda sick of constantly seeing her in all those sparkles and sequins and crazy ruffles.
This look is such a breath of fresh air!
Featuring a sheer mesh panel over a seksi V-neckline and ruched panels at the hips, the jumpsuit really set the 29-year-old apart from the rest of her country cohorts, who, as usual, dressed in all the rhinestones they could find.
Miz Underwood accessorized with black & red Giuseppe Zanotti heels, Vahan bracelets, and a Jill Milan clutch.
A+, girl!

Country diva Carrie Underwood rocked three different outfits at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, and she looked impossibly gorgeous in all of them.
Her hubby is one super lucky guy!
After appearing on the red carpet in a long & lacy Abed Mahfouz number, Carrie changed into a cobalt blue strapless piece by Sarli Couture.
This is definitely a notice-me! outfit. Not that Carrie would ever have any trouble being noticed, of course!
The pleats and ruffles on this dress create a unique silhouette, and the black sequin trim offsets the shiny blue satin nicely.
Miz Underwood gave the pretty frock a rocker feel with embellished Giuseppe Zanotti booties.
Flawless country queen!

As Buddy the Elf would say: "That's a very nice purple dress. It's very purpley."
Carrie Underwood looked like a violet country rose at the American Music Awards on Sunday in El Lay.
The singer wore a lace Abed Mahfouz gown which featured seksi sheer accents. Her black and gold clutch provided classic accent colors.
Carrie’s kohl-rimmed eyes and sleek blonde waves completed her look.
Red carpet A+ again, Miz Underwood!

Kelly Pickler looked AH-Mazing last night at the CMA Awards!
Carrie Underwood's BFF dazzled in a beaded ice blue Pamella Roland chiffon gown that fit her like a glove.
Tacori earrings and matching bracelet finished Kellie's look, but it was her beautiful buzz cut that really made it wow-worthy.
Thoughts???

If the Greek goddess Hera came to Earth, we imagine she'd look something like this.
Everyone at the CMA Awards in Nashville was Blown Away by Carrie Underwood's red carpet look.
The Good Girl singer looked heavenly in a Reem Acra gown with a sexy sheer panel and beautiful gold floral applique decorating the bodice and shoulders.
A Swarovski clutch, complementary jewels and curly goldilocks gathered into a low side ponytail provided the finishing touches.
Absolutely stunning!
Then again, Carrie always looks so gorgeous, but it’s like this dress was made for her.

File this under WTF.
Crocs Inc. co-founder, George Brian Boedecker Jr., was popped for a DUI in Boulder, Colorado on Saturday after passing out in in his Porshe and apparently it's all Taylor Swift's fault.
Really.
