A source close to the 31-year-old songstress revealed that although the news has been "a bit hard to digest," the Bathroom Sink singer was thrilled to win Female Vocalist of the Year on Wednesday at the CMA Awards:
"She was so happy to win. It lit up her night!"
As for that "uncomfortable" jab by co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, Miz Lambert didn't let it get to her head:

On Wednesday, Amy Duggar's new husband Dillon King stirred up some controversy after he shared on Instagram a clip of Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood's joke at the CMA Awards about his cousin-in-law Josh Duggar's Ashley Madison scandal. Eek!
In case you forgot, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's eldest son confessed to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar back in August and has since entered a longterm treatment center.

Let's be honest, Carrie Underwood's legs were the real winners on Wednesday night at the CMA Awards — and the country starlet continued to show off her toned gams while taking a spin on a mechanical bull at the after-party.
This was the eighth consecutive year the 32-year-old hosted country music's biggest night alongside pal Brad Paisley — so we definitely can't blame her for letting loose!
