Chelsea Handler may be too busy to star in her own sitcom, Are You There, Chelsea? but she's just fine playing her own sister!

The series is set to premiere January 11th with Laura Prepon set to star as Chelsea. The real Chelsea will co-star as her laid-back and low key sister.

We all know Chelsea Handler loves her vodka!!

We mean, she named a book after it… and she's sponsored by Belvedere!!

But lately she's been cutting back. Instead of always holding a cocktail in one hand and a grapefruit in the other, she's acknowledging her responsibilities a little more seriously now.

The network is in talks with the blonde bombshell to host a brand new talk show, making it the third talk show move the network has made in the past month! (Both Andy Cohen and Kathy Griffin had talk show news, too!)

Chelsea Handler's new NBC sitcom is about to premiere!

On January 11, she and That 70's Show's Laura Prepon will take the wild antics of vintage Chelsea and bring them back to life for primetime!

But here's one thing — Chelsea isn't playing herself. No, no, no, if you want that, tune into her talk show.

Instead, Laura's laying Chels and Chelsea's playing her sister. In fact, she even auditioned herself for the role. And with her sense of humor, joked:

I had to audition myself and I said, 'That girl has got what it takes to play a pain-in-the-ass sister.'

Ha! Well, when you watch this preview (above), you definitely can't disagree!!

James Van Der Beek is becoming quite the little comedian, isn't he??

Chelsea Handler has signed papers that ensure her stay with E! through 2014.

So not only will the funny late-night talk show be around for another two years at least, but this new contract gives her powers to help develop even more new shows for the company.
