Emma Stone Is Hosting SNL Again! With Musical Guest Coldplay!!

Filed under: Coldplay > Emma Stone

YES!!!

We nearly fainted when we heard the news. Emma Stone hosting SNL is a miraculous holiday omen.

The only thing better would be the ghosts of SNL past all coming together for a magical Christmahannukwanzica event.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The focus right now is on Emma!

She'll be making us all snort with laughter November 12. And to calm ourselves from all the hilarity, the musical guest will be Coldplay!

Ahh…sweet, sweet November. Para-para-paradiise… Watch the promo up above!!

Coldplay Gets Third Album At Number One!

Cold Play Mylo Tops

Mylo Xyloto sold 447,000 copies in its debut week, and will claim the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart!

Congrats Coldplay! That makes it the third best debut this year, right behind GaGa and Lil' Wayne!

But it's not like it's much of a surprise as this is their THIRD album to hit number one!

What is a surprise, though is that they've only had one #1 single before, and that was Viva La Vida off of the last album. But this one is no slouch, as Every Tear Drop his #14, which isn't bad at all!

Woo! Glad everything is going so well, guys!

Mylo Xyloto Makes The U.K. Sing For Coldplay! #1 On The Charts!

coldplay-mylo-xyloto-sales.jpg

That shouldn't be that surprising though. What is this, their fifth time at the top of the charts? These guys couldn't put out a bad CD if they tried! They're THAT good!

Chris Martin and his cohorts of Coldplay have a lot to celebrate today. As of Sunday, their latest album Mylo Xyloto hit the top of the album charts in the U.K., selling 208,000 units last week. The album is also making history, setting the new weekly digital album sales record and achieving the second-biggest first-week sale of 2011 for an artist album.

Woo-hoo! Nothing wrong with any of that! Congrats guys! Well deserved!

Quote Of The Day

chris-martin-kanye-west.jpg

"Don't you think that music now shouldn't fall into a particular box? I don't think anyone thinks like that anymore. You don't see many goths, hippies, rockers and hip hoppers anymore. People like Kanye [West] are changing the way we all listen and the Internet."
