The Manchester United player was voted the winner of the award after his exploits last season, which saw him claim a Premier League and Champions League double and hit 42 goals for his club. Oh, Crissy. The Sun reports that Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is smitten with a married woman. The new lady, Alyona Haynes, is described as a Ukranian beauty who Golden Ball finds intelligent and sexy. And, she's also the 'face' of a dating website which finds beautiful Russian lovers for British men. So, a mail order bride service? Anyway, Alyona claims that her marriage to a Brit millionaire was 'over' when she started hanging with Ronnie. She's supposedly furious that her husband has blamed the super rich soccer star for the marriage breakdown. The scorned husband said, "He’s not intelligent in the slightest. Alyona is a very intelligent woman so I can’t imagine what they talk about when they sit down together. I just can’t get my head around it.” They probably don't talk that much! Duh!!! It's been a big 2008 for Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo! Earlier this year, he bagged the FIFPro World Player of the Year award, the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award and the European Golden Boot. And today, Tuesday, he scored another huge award. He was awarded the Golden Ball, an honor bestowed upon the European Footballer of the Year. He's the fourth Manchester United player to nab the honor. The last Man United player to do so was George Best (Callum "I dated BiHan" Best's dad) in 1968. Congrats, Ronnie, baby!!!!!! Cristiano Ronaldo's classy ex-girlfriend, Nereida Gallardo, just sold him out to the UK tabloids! The former 'model' sheds some light on Ronnie's super metro beauty regimen and self-centered tendencies. Crissy is self-centered? Get out! Gallardo said, "He likes his body to be smooth all over and would even use a hair removal cream. He would also use tubs of moisturiser, coating every part of his body, at least twice a day… His house is full of mirrors so he’s always walking around glancing at himself. She also went on to reveal that Ronnie has his initials and the number seven all over the place (it’s on the doors, the coffee tables, etc.). And, in addition to looking at himself in the mirror, he LOVES playing with his own curly hair. During the interview, the ex also mentions that Ronnie broke up with her by text, which she's still pissed about, “He’s a coward who couldn’t end it face-to-face." Lastly, Crissy is a huge momma's boy. The soccer groupie places a lot of the break up blame on Ronnie's mom, "He phones her every day. I wouldn’t be surprised if his next girlfriend is chosen by his mum.” Note to self. Get in good with Crissy's mom. Portuguese superstar/Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo has just been been named FIFPro World Footballer of the Year. Congrats, tanningholic one! Reports say that he's also expected to win the Balon d'Or and the Fifa World Player of the Year award. All these awards are coming Ronnie's way because he played a huge role in Manchester United's successful 2007-08 season. The north England team captured both the English Premiere League and Champion's League titles. Ronaldo also killed any transfer rumors that are floating around. He told a Spanish paper, "I insist that I am a Manchester United player and now I think that next year I will continue here." That must make United fans happy, right? On Monday, Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo opened his second boutique in Lisbon (the first one was opened in his hometown of Funchal). The boutique only carries items from his men's AND women's clothing line, CR7. In case you didn't know, Ronnie sports the #7 jersey for Manchester United. At the store opening the tanningphile said, "I expect the store will be a success. I really like the clothes and I identify myself with the style of CR7." The UK's Daily Mirror attended the store launch. Here's what they had to say about Ronnie's pieces:

Looking good, papi!!! We miss the days that Ronnie was in L.A. and baking his buff bod to purple perfection by the pool. Saddy, Crissy is back in Europe and far far away from us! On Thursday, Cristiano Ronaldo put on a fancy suit and attended the UEFA Champions League Drawn. The Manchester United player was awarded a trophy for "Player of the Year." Cuz he's that good!
