It looks like this feud has been squashed thankfully.

Sir Elton's hubby, David Furnish, has issued an olive branch to Madonna. David posted an apology on his Facebook page to the Queen of Pop.

He writes:

Can we PLEASE move on from this, already!

To recap - yesterday, Elton John dissed Madonna on the Golden Globes red carpet by saying that she didn't have a "f***ing chance" of winning Best Song…but as it turns out she DID win!

Then, Elton's hubby David Furnish went off on Madge on Facebook, saying the following:

Me-Ow!!! The claws are out!

After Madonna won for Best Song at the Golden Globes, hubby of fellow nominee Elton John SLAMMED her Madgesty!!

Earlier in the evening, Elton totally dissed Madonna on the red carpet, telling Carson Daly she had "no f***ing chance" at winning.

Of course, he was later proven wrong when she actually did win, LOL!!

But we're not sure who was pissed more — Elton or David Furnish?!?

…only to eat his words later!!! LOL!!

OMG this is TOO good!! This just might be the best story of the night! Definitely the most HIGHlarious!!!

You seee… on the red carpet, Carson Daly asked Elton John who could win the Globe for Best Song, the category he was nominated in.

Elton replied (with just a touch of venom), "Mary J. Blige could win. Madonna hasn't got a f***ing chance!"

Ouch!!

And when Carson told him those were fighting words, he quipped back with "those are accurate words!"

Damn, Elton! LOL!!

But of course, when Madonna found out about it, her classy Madgesty only said, "Oh, damn him! May the best man win!"

Then guess WHO won the category!!!! MADONNA OF COURSE!!!!

Ahhh!!! The LOOK on Elton's face when he seemed to realize there would be dozens of stories and GIFS made about his humiliating night was PRICELESS!!

While lunching on one of Hawaii's beachside restaurants Elton John and his husband David Furnish took some time to pass around their bundle of joy. Ya know, just to make sure everyone saw how cute he is.

Elton is beam with pride as he watches the face of his adorable 2-year-old baybay!

Sir Elton John doesn't need to cash in on the retirement benefits just yet!

64 year old music legend had a fabulous 2011. Sir Elton received his third Golden Globe nod for his work with Gnomeo & Juliet and a biopic in development.

But he's keeping himself young by collaborating with the whippersnappers of today.
