What a treat for theatergoers!

Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Kevin Bacon, Martin Sheen, Matthew Morrison, Chris Colfer, Jane Lynch, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, George Takei and Jamie Lee Curtis took to the stage at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in El Lay Saturday night to perform in Dustin Lance Black's play about Prop. 8, 8.

The play is based on the controversial legal battle to overturn California's gay marriage ban, Proposition 8.

Brad played the role of Judge Vaughn Walker and was joined on stage by some of Hollywood's A-list actors for the stage reading.

So inspirational!

A few weeks ago, we mentioned that we couldn't be prouder of the Hollywood community for supporting the L.A. reading of Dustin Lance Black's VERY important Proposition 8 play entitled 8.

As a reminder, the play explores the case filed by the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) to overturn Proposition 8.

Now, we're THRILLED to announce that Brad Pitt has joined the already star-studded cast for 8, which features the following talented actors:

So how did he get ALL these stars jam packed inside this trailer?!

Featured in a behind-the-scenes video of the EPIC trailer, the stars explain their motivations for hopping onto the project.

Their reasons are HIGHlarious!

George Clooney believed that it is rare when an actor gets to honor his or herself. He then blasted off the billions of awards shows in existence.

Don Cheadle demanded his Black Swan spotlight and Gabourey Sidibe felt that Hilter needed to be protrayed by a woman of color.

Even Scorsese gets in on the action!

George Clooney has decided to give up the bottle and admitted he hasn't had any alcohol since New Year's Eve!

While he hasn't gone completely cold turkey, he admits that he's enjoying life without alcohol, stating:
