He's mad as hell and he's not going to take this anymore!
Today, just hours before the high court's deadline, Hugh Grant filed claim against News Corp for allegedly hacking his phone.
The Rupert Murdoch owned media conglomerate already settled up with a slew of other celebrities, including Sienna Miller and Steve Coogan, who claimed News of the World investigators hacked their phones and stole sensitive and confidential information.
Hugh is already a very vocal privacy advocate and was recently named director of Hacked Off, a non-profit company campaigning for press reform.
And even if takes nine months to settle, the British acting legend VOWED

We haven't seen anything directed by the Wachowski siblings since their disappointing adaption of Speed Racer in 2008, but it looks like their return to the director's chair has been well worth the wait.
An EPIC trailer for their latest thought-provoking sci-fi movie, Cloud Atlas, has leaked and no, we're not using the word "epic" lightly.
First of all, the film is woven together from six different stories that take places over the course of thousands of years, which is a grand task all in itself. Secondly, the trailer is almost six minutes long!
From what we can tell, characters played by
Is there anyone Rupert Murdoch's tabloid didn't hack??
UK prosecutors have revealed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were among those hacked by News of the World in the early 2000s.
Former chief reporter Neville Thurlbeck and former assistant editor James Weatherup were "charged on suspicion of conspiracy to intercept the voicemails" from Brangelina.
Other A-listers made victims by the technology savvy spies include
It's been a while since we've seen any movies directed by the duo behind The Matrix, but sci-fi fans will be happy to hear that The Wachowski's next film will hit theaters this fall.
Cloud Atlas, an adaptation of David Mitchell's critically acclaimed novel, will be released domestically on October 26.
Halle Berry stars alongside Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant and Agent Smith himself, Hugo Weaving.
The film consists of six different stories set in a different time and place, which ultimately connect. Even better than the unique plot will be seeing the A-list actors portray multiple roles as the film progresses through the ages.
How U feelin' about this one??
Hugh Grant revealed that he's about recovered from the acting bug. Speaking about his career, Hugh goes:
Earlier today, Working Title Films released the following statement regarding progress on Bridget Jones' Baby, which WAS just about go into production:
"Reports that Hugh Grant has exited Bridget Jones’s Baby are untrue. We are still working on the script hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned."
The studio claims that the film will still shoot this year, but it could be much later in the year! A source close to the movie is saying that the cast/crew have been told that "the delay could stretch into the fall."
We just hope it gets made, sooner or later! We generally prefer original movies to sequels and threequels…but this is one we'd really like to see! Especially because the original cast will be back!
What do U think? Will the next Bridget Jones movie start production this year???
That's one person who's not watching Charlie Sheen's comeback to TV.
Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre stated that he won't be watching Anger Management, the warlock's new show.
Sheen was fired after a public tiff with Lorre so there is some bad blood between them.
Anger Management was picked up in October by FX. Lorre did wish showrunner Bruce Helford the "best of luck."
Lorre also addressed rumors of Hugh Grant replacing Charlie Sheen. The showrunner admitted he wanted Sheen's replacement to be in his 40s or 50s. But he says after meeting Ashton, he had to "let go of the old idea" of Grant.
Two And A Half Men continues to show strong ratings since Sheen left.
