After the Rhythm Nation singer received a FLOOD of criticism for this decision, she took to Twitter on Wednesday to clear the air!
The legendary vocalist wrote
This doesn't seem like the best way to treat your fans…
And while her concerts may be selling out seats, we're not sure if the singer's younger audience is going to be flocking out to her future shows.
Because we're hearing reports that Janet and her team are deleting Instagram accounts of fans who post video from the tour!
Apparently, Rhythm Nation is going all in on copyright law and is having the social media powerhouse remove unlicensed clips from users' pages without their consent — and have even permanently deleted a few unlucky accounts as well.
We get that Janet has a right to her own music, but fighting against people who just want to show off their experiences at your shows seems awfully archaic to us.

Though the theme of the shoot went even further than that, with Zendaya's stylist, Larry Sims, saying:
