Wrestling + Celebrities?!

wenn5329246.jpg

In the past two months, the WWE has allowed their Monday Night Raw show on USA to be used as a promotional vehicle for guest hosts.

The alternative talk show format has been so well received that rotating hosts will continue to appear on the program until the end of the year.

"We wanted a different way to get our product out there and talked about," says Stephanie McMahon, WWE's executive VP of creative development and operations. "Tying us in with celebrities in Hollywood raises our awareness and gets a variety of people talking about us, which is always a positive place to be. Hopefully it will translate to new viewers."

Jeremy Piven was the most recent douche celebrity to interact with the wrestlers to whore out his new film, along with Seth Green and Shaquille O'Neal.

"They have something to promote, and we have the platform they need," says Chris McCumber, USA Network's executive VP for marketing and brand strategy.

Viewership for Raw is up 10% since the hosts were introduced in June - bringing in audiences of about 5.6 million per week.

That's huge for wrestling!

Upcoming talent includes Bob Barker, Rev. Al Sharpton, Nancy O'Dell and LeBron James. Yet,
Pete Wentz, Asslee Simpson, the Osbournes, Danny DeVito, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, Jimmy Fallon, Rachael Ray, MC Hammer, Woody Harrelson and Ashton Kutcher are all considering hosting gigs.

We wanna see Pete vs. Asslee in the ring!

R-Patz Sitting In A Tree…

Okay, not really. He doesn't have time for that sort of thing.

But, last night Jimmy Fallon unveiled his new comedy website in which he'll post videos impersonating Robert Pattinson discussing various topics.

His first topic: Shark Week.

It's mildly humorous, at best, but what we love the most is K-Stew's appearance!

Yes, Kristen Stewart makes an appearance and we won't lie - it's probably the best work she's ever done.

So poised, so eloquent. We were stunned.

Watch her brilliant, and Jimmy's mediocre, performance (above)!

R-Patz vs Dan Rad!!!

It's truly the matchup everyone is waiting to see, and only Jimmy Fallon can bring it to you. (It's almost hard to contain yourselves, isn't Twi-Hards & Pot-Heads?)

Watch as Jimmy showcases the kind of Robert Pattinson and Daniel Radcliffe verbal squabble that would never happen in real life, but would be a better place if it did.

Note: Even Jimmy's R-Patz impersonation is better than Dan Rad! We kid. We kid.

Back To School

mx019038524.jpg

Who said it's never too late to finish school? Apparently Jimmy Fallon feels that way.

Well, sort of.

Fallon isn't really going back to school, he's just getting a diploma!

About 15 years ago, the comic was studying to get his bachelor's degree in communications, however, the funnyman decided to leave to Los Angeles in order to pursue his comedy career. He ended up leaving one semester before graduation!

That was stoopid!

But, this Saturday, Fallon picked up his diploma and give a speech at the College of St. Rose commencement at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

He attended the college from 1992 through 1995, originally starting off as a computer science major before switching.

The school is not admitting to giving away any free diplomas. Instead, they claim Fallon earned his degree by completing the requirements for the remaining credits by presenting them with a portfolio of his work.

Yea, yea.

A diploma for Jimmy and press for the school.

Jimmy Fallon Rants After Being Kicked Out Of A Restaurant

wenn-jimmy-fallon-boycott.jpg

Jimmy Fallon was ejected from a restaurant in NYC this weekend!

And in his rant regarding, he asked fans to boycott the establishment!

Sort of.

Without ever really explaining what exactly happened, Fallon ranted via Twitter:

* carb face carol rude to my 2 year old niece and an 11 month old (sleeping) because they heard i didnt like the pizza there.
* crazy.
* i actually like posto.
* not anymore. please… if you like little babies and hate carb face carol…
* never go to Posto, Gruppo or Vezzo in New York City. i actually cannot believe how rude they were.
* i am not (or ever will be) a food critic. this girl was laughing as we (my wife and I) were wheeling the kids out.
* I have never ever EVER reviewed Posto. Carb face Carol and owners Jonathan Tweedy and Anthonio Gomez should be ashamed. not cool.
* dudes. no joke. i actually like that pizza!
* i actually hope that you choose to never go to Posto, Gruppo or Vezzo. that girl was laughing at us, telling us to leave.
* i soooooooo love technology. and i soooooo love the power of people.
* in that pizza tas[t]ing - i actually said - that Posto is good. they shouldn’t be in this competition because the pizza is thin (cracker like)
* i’m sorry. i am venting. don’t boycott. don’t hate. I just have never been thrown out of a restaurant.

Boycott Posto???

Shit, we wanna try it now!

Do they overnight deliver to LA????

Jimmy Fallon Has A Reason To Laugh At His Own Jokes

wenn22727592__opt1.jpg

Surprisingly, Jimmy Fallon ain't doing so bad as host of NBC's Late Night.

The SNL alum managed to come out on top in his first week, even beating his competition.

Not only that, but he also somehow managed to land the most watched premiere for a late night talk show, averaging nearly 2.4 million total viewers and more than 1.2 million adults 18-49, 21% higher than O'Brien's 991,000 Late Night average this season and 11% above his adults 18-49 season rating.

Not bad!

But can he keep it up?

Stop laughing at your own jokes!
