Jimmy Fallon's star studded return to SNL got a 5.3 rating, making it the highest rated episode this season.
Jimmy returned with SNL alums Tracey Morgan, Chris Kattan, Rachel Dratch, Horatio Sanz, and was capped with a Weekend Update with Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
It was the highest rated episode since JT and Gaga last May.
This weekend's Saturday Night Live was definitely one to have NOT missed! Host Jimmy Fallon called in a lot of favors to get a lot of familiar faces on the show, including former cast members Amy Poehler and Tina Fey.
A HIGHlight of the evening came with Jimmy, Tina and Amy joined Seth Meyers behind the desk of Weekend Update, a beloved spot held dear to them all.
Check out the video (above) from Saturday night's show to see them ALL in their element!
Ah! We really miss SOMEONE sitting next to Seth during these things!
This is actually really exciting! It's been so long since he was last there!
Check out the promo for this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, which features guest host - and alumni - Jimmy Fallon, alongside musical guest Michael Buble (above)!
Yes, according to Zac Efron during his appearance last night on Jimmy Fallon Live, he and the actor were discussing motorcycles at a party, when he received an invitation to learn how to ride from the latter the following day!
Hey! Can't say we blame him!
We wouldn't have minded tagging along for that little lesson!
Unfortunately, it seems that actions always have consequences - even if the initial action was effing HIGHlarious!
Roots drummer Questlove caused a bit of controversy for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon when he chose to play Fishbone's Lyin' Ass Bitch during Michele Bachmann's walk-on song, and apparently now, he's being forced to clear every song choice with three NBC executives!
To recap, Jimmy Fallon'sLate Night band The Roots gave an impromptu performance of Fishbone'sLyin' A*s B*tch as Michele Bachmann's intro song during her appearance on Monday's show.
After hearing about it, Glenn Beck opened up about the incident on his show (above), and he is absolutely FURIOUS about it!
While everyone's entitled to their opinion, we are disgusted with Glenn for calling Jimmy "a girl" in his arguments!
Come on, Glenn! Referring to Jimmy as a girl as if it were a negative thing???? Just awful!
What do U think about Glenn Beck's anti-Fallon tirade? Do U agree with any of his points???
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
