As we reported back in February, Whitney Houston's film debut, The Bodyguard, is going to be turned into a musical!!!

We now know that on November 6, the stage adaption

While most know him for his work as an actor, Kevin Costner is winning everyone over with his music too!

Kevin's band, Modern West, is quickly gaining more and more fans — he takes care of his new adorers too! Costner believes that even casual come-and-goers can get in on the fun as Modern West's performances are "loosey-goosey" and entertaining.

Young Whitney Houston fans will have a chance to see The Bodyguard on the big screen for the first time!

Warner Bros. is celebrating the romantic thriller's 20th anniversary by releasing it in 400 theaters nation-wide.

Such an incredibly difficult, solemn day for so many.

Whitney Houston was laid to rest today in Newark, N.J., after passing away at 48 a week ago, and during her almost-four hour funeral service, held at the New Hope Baptist Church, she was honored and remembered by a number of celebrities, including Tyler Perry, BeBe Winans, Dionne Warwick, Kevin Costner, Alicia Keys, Clive Davis, R. Kelly, and Stevie Wonder.

We weren't sure where this was going to go, but wow, does he get you at the end.

Kevin Costner paid tribute to his co-star from The Bodyguard, and friend Whitney Houston today at the singer's funeral, held in New Jersey, and we were pretty broken up watching him fight back the tears during his remembrance of her.

Truly touching.

There really is going to be a lot of stars at Whitney Houston's funeral.

We saw Ray J and his sister Brandy earlier, and now we're seeing that Kevin Costner is also attending.

With bags in tow, he was holding onto his wife's hand as they started their journey to New Jersey.

So sad that she passed, but the overwhelming amount of respect coming from the community is a sight to see.

It's beautiful how many lives she touched!
