A Perezcious reader who was out and about in LaLaLand reports:

The other night I was out with friends on Sunset, and we saw LC "driving" in her car. Her entire car was up on a trailer and MTV had lights and booms and everything! They don't even really drive in that show!

Why do we all still watch the show when we know it's fake?!

We can't help it!

Reality acting on The Hills isn't enough for Lauren Conrad!

She's now set to show off her 'thespian' abilities on ABC Family's Greek.

L.C. will be playing herself in the show's second season finale on October 28th.

The show's creator explains the scene that will feature LC:

"It's a dream sequence in which Casey (one of the show characters) and LC are best friends. Casey has a big decision she has to make, and she's like, 'LC, what do I do? Advise me!'" he reveals, adding that the girls' dynamic reminds him of "when Frankie Avalon is telling Frenchie what do to in Grease. Casey holds LC in that high esteem."

The folks at Greek probably knew it was too risky to have L.C. try some real acting and play a different character.

The report also goes on to say that MTV had to sign off on the script.

Sheesh!

Did MTV have to sign off on Lauren's 'fashion designs' too?

We'd be pissed too!

The presence of Lauren Conrad has turned her LA neighborhood topsy turvey. We've written about it before and now the LA Times is getting on on the action too!

The once quiet street she lives on is now overrun with sightseeing vans and tour buses that stop so gawkers could snap pictures and peer over L.C.'s fence in hopes of a glimpse of the show's 'stars'.

Residents say the girls have been courteous and cordial but 'complain that gawkers blocking their driveways and littering their lawns and the continuous filming has become a nuisance.'

Neighbors also report that fans sometimes show up after the midnight hour to wake them up with screams of, "Lauren, we love you!"

How rude!

Even more disturbing are the occasional altercations in front of Conrad's house, according to street residents.

There was a "a drunken brawl (that) broke out during a party" at the house May 4th, which continued as the combatants stumbled down the street.

On June 14th "several paparazzi began fighting and one pulled a knife on the other one."

One of L.C.'s neighbors told the Times that many in the neighborhood doubt that Conrad, Patridge and Bosworth actually live in the house, despite what the show's story line suggests.

The Hills lying???? Say it ain't so!

"Lights are left on in there 24/7, so you wonder if anyone is sleeping. Most of the neighbors don't see them there on a regular basis except when they are shooting," said the resident.

We wouldn't be surprised if what the neighbor asserts is true!

Seems like everything else is faked!

MTV should start handing out money to the peeps in the neighborhood to keep them 'happy'. The angry locals might succeed in getting their filming permits pulled!

No, it's not quite what you think.

L.C. and Heidi have not reconciled, but The Hills star is totally hanging with Montag's sister. She likes doing that!

Lauren Conrad caught up with Heidi's sister Holly Montag, for some lunch at Cafe Amandine in Santa Monica.

Holly just moved from Colorado to Los Angeles and is living with Speidi. She will also be featured in the upcoming season of The Hills.

Wonder what she and L.C. talked about at lunch????

How come Conrad didn't invite Stephanie Pratt???

Things between Audrina Patridge and The Hills star villain Lauren Conrad are on the outs!

And, instead, Audrina is on the up and up wit Speidi!!!!

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Patridge was hanging out with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt on Friday night.

"They were all hanging out at the Sidekick party in Hollywood for the launch of Tony Hawk's new Sidekick," a source tells us. "They were filming for the hills for over an hour and acting all friendly."

There is some bad news, though.

Audrina was hanging out with Justin Bobby at the party too.

Douche alert!

Lauren Conrad was spotted getting very cozy with this sleazy-looking fella this week.

The pair hit up the Key Club in West Hollywood on Monday night to catch glam rock tribute band Steel Panther perform.

L.C. and her man were glued to each other all night long.

Does anyone know who he is???? Besides a famewhore!

Update: Douche's name is Kyle Howard.

He is an actor on the TBS sitcom My Boys.

Audrina Patridge sat down with the LA Times and dished about her 'career' and her relationship with her Hills co-star, Lauren Conrad.

Here's are the HIGHlights of the interview.

It's so obvious to us that she can't stand L.C. and is just making nice for the cameras!

Is Lauren your friend?
We live together, so yeah, we see each other a lot while the show is taping. Sometimes I see her when it's not.

But is she your friend outside of "The Hills"?
We don't have a lot of the same friends, but we try to reserve one night a week to hang out. In the fourth season, you'll see our fight gets cleared up. Basically, I just start doing my own thing separately from her and Lo [Lauren Bosworth], and I get busy. But you know, things change and friendships do drift apart sometimes. Lauren and I aren't not friends, we're just not as close as we used to be.

What about Lo? Do you blame moving in together with her and Lauren for the rift in your friendship?
I do think living in that separate guest house of mine was definitely the cause of the tension between Lauren and me. We were used to being right next to each other in our apartment. I don't really blame Lo, she and Lauren have been friends for a long time.

What a diva!

As we mentioned last week, Lauren Conrad was hired as the official dog walker and host for Animal Fair magazine's 9th annual 'Paws for Style' benefit.

Instead, L.C. showed up for some quick pictures on the red carpet and quickly left out the back before doing her walk down the runway with a rescued dog.

She bailed on an event that was paying her!

Now, we find out that L.C. was also flown to East Hampton by helicopter and was paid to host a party at Lily Pond for Svedka's "Join the Party" campaign.

However, in typical L.C. style, she showed up two hours late, according to reports.

For a gig she was getting paid to do!

A source says, "She seems to have lost a grip on reality and thinks she is A-list material. And after taking pictures, she bolted straight to the VIP area and refused to speak to anyone outside her entourage."

So very true.

L.C. better enjoy her 15 minutes of fame. Most "reality" tv stars don't last very long in the spotlight. - especially when acting like spoiled divas.
