Kate Winslet, Billy Zane (but no Leo… :-( ) and other stars strutted on the red carpet for Titanic's 3D release.

OKAY, OKAY… to be fair, Kate Winslet didn't exactly ditch Leonardo DiCaprio at the Titanic premiere. He just didn't go!

Pshh… what's his problem??

Ooooh, National Geographic, how we love you so…

With the 100th anniversary of the sinking next month, we're ALL getting way too excited about the 3D re-release of Titanic. But we're also kinda innerested in the real deal too… which is why these photos BLEW our mind!

William Lange took months to construct these blown-up images together using sonar survey maps. But it was worth it. SO worth it. We're glad they had millions of dollars to do it!!

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration archaeologist James Delgado says of the project:

Welp!! We're pretty freakin' excited about Titanic's 3D release, but one person wasn't so thrilled when she first watched it.

In fact, Kate Winslet was MORTIFIED. Seeing herself back then wasn't exactly the best thing for her ego, LOL!! Gurl has an Oscar and some Emmys up on her shelf now so watching her performance made her cringe.

She says of her 3D screening experience:

I was literally like, 'Oh God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that's me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses. Make it f***ing stop!'

But then she got over it and realized what an amazing opportunity this is for the world:

A whole new generation gets to experience the film. It's very exciting that I can actually sit with them together and we can all watch it in a movie theater. That is going to be quite amazing, actually.

Yeah!! See!!

Then again, she's gonna have to cover her chillin's eyes when her boobz pop out of the screen, LOL!!!!

One more month, people!!! ONE MORE MONTH!!!
