The nominees for the Critics' Choice Awards were just announce and we're pretty happy with the results!
George Miller and Tom Hardy's Mad Max: Fury Road ended up being the biggest winner as it leads the list with 13 nominations which include Best Picture, Best Actress for Charlize Theron and Best Director for Miller.
After taking the Online Film Critics Society Awards by storm this weekend, the Oscars buzz for the flick is as loud as a flamethrowing guitar!
But don't worry, if you are a fan of Carol, The Martian, or The Revenant, then you'll be pretty pleased as each of those flicks nabbed nine nominations!
This year Fargo ended up landing the top spot in television with eight and The Leftovers and Transparent are both right behind the FX drama with six.
But the best and most surprising nominations were You're the Worst, The Knick, and the much deserved Best Drama Series nomination for Rectify!

The Wiz averaged a 3.4 rating for adults 18-49 and 11.5 million viewers on Thursday night, while Peter Pan scored a 2.3 rating and 9.1 million viewers!
With The Wiz's talented cast — including the breakout performance of lead star Shanice Williams — we're not surprised people couldn't help but tune in!
Neither broadcast came close to 2013's The Sound of Music Live starring Carrie Underwood! Broadcast TV's first live musical in years scored a 4.6 rating and a whopping 18.6 million viewers!

On Thursday, NBC aired its much-anticipated special The Wiz Live!, and boy, did it not disappoint!
The 3-hour special was filled with amazing sets, fabulous dancing, and of course, SPECTACULAR musical numbers!
We smell a star in the making!

But not by a tornado, Perezcious readers! We were blown away by the PERFORMANCE! LOL!
NBC did it again with another live, televised production of a broadway classic! Plenty of celebs were cast in the highly-publicized production, including Uzo Aduba as Glinda the Good Witch, Mary J. Blige as the Wicked Witch of the West, Ne-Yo as the Tin Man, and Queen Latifah as The Wiz.
And while it seems like at least half of Hollywood starred in the show, spectator celebs like Andy Cohen and Kristin Chenoweth took to Twitter to sound off on how their peers — and newcomer Shanice Williams — did in the musical!

There's less than a month until NBC airs its annual live musical, and these sneak peeks just keep getting better and better.
While we've gotten a look at what some of the stars of The Wiz Live! will be wearing on Dec. 3, Monday's all-new trailer for the stage production shows off what we can expect from the cast's more famous stars.
In fact, Mary J. Blige's Wicked Witch of the West is the only person we've yet to see, so they must be saving the wickedest for last!
This is shaping up to be so much bigger than Sound of Music and Peter Pan and we could not be more excited.

Get ready to Ease on Down the Road!
NBC dropped the first teaser for The Wiz Live on Tuesday — and we finally get to see the all-star cast in their iconic costumes strolling down the Yellow Brick Road!
The clip reveals newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy who belts out one the musical's hit songs before saying the famous phrase:
"There's no place like home."
The 19-year-old is joined by Ne-Yo playing the Tinman, David Alan Grier as the Cowardly Lion, and Elijah Kelley as Scarecrow!
