Mary J. Blige is still in the middle of a pretty nasty divorce battle.
As you may know, the R&B songstress filed for divorce last July and asked the court to NOT award spousal support to her partner of 16 years, Kendu Isaacs.
Talking to Power 105.1's Angie Martinez, the 46-year-old opened up in an emotional interview about what led to the split with her longtime manager and the state of their legal woes now.

The Family Affair singer said it was an alarming amount of "overwhelming disrespect" that caused her to "investigate" what was happening with her relationship:
Mary J. Blige is in the midst of some pretty horrible drama.
The Real Love songstress filed the papers for her divorce from Martin "Kendu" Isaacs back in July, but it's since been revealed the music manager has demanded a massive amount of money in temporary spousal support.

While she previously hadn't spoken out on the battle with her estranged husband, the 45-year-old decided to open up to MailOnline on life following her split.
In the new interview, Mary confessed:
The competition was fierce during the first knockout round of The Voice on Monday, and no one was more nervous than Miley Cyrus!
The pop star and freshman coach admitted it was "so scary" to be this far along in the competition, but she felt much more at ease once the contestants started knocking their performances out of the park.

We hope Mary J. Blige has a good divorce attorney!
According to TMZ, Mary's ex-husband Martin "Kendu" Isaacs is asking for an insane amount of temporary spousal support per month. Mr. Isaacs first put in his request for support in September.

While Blige has filed to deny her former husband any money while they work out their divorce, Martin is asking for $129,319 EVERY thirty days. The singer's ex-manager believes it's a fair sum in light of the lavish lifestyle he's grown accustomed to over the course of their 12-year marriage.
In addition, Isaacs argues he's out of work now that he's no longer working for Ms. Blige.
As for the celeb's finances, she's about to make bank considering she's currently on tour with an upcoming album. In the past two years Mary has made about $1.5-$5 million dollars in revenue.
It will be quite interesting to see how this case plays out in court, especially since the two have a prenup. We wonder if a judge will believe Martin's claim that the prenup is void since it allegedly wasn't signed with his lawyer present.
So, do YOU think Kendu deserves a big check?

Mary J. Blige's lawyers better be ready!
Just a few months after Mary announced her split from longtime husband Martin "Kendu" Isaacs, new divorce docs reveal her ex is vying for spousal support.

According to TMZ, the development is especially concerning since the entertainer requested Martin not receive any cash back in June. Issacs' September 14 filing leads us to believe this disagreement will play out in a contentious court battle.
In addition to the spousal support request, the ex also wants Blige to pay his attorney fees.
Obviously, M.J.B. $45 million dollar fortune far outweighs Martin's net worth. Considering the two were married for twelve years, California law could award the ex-manager an unlimited duration of spousal support. This rule doesn't apply to marriages of ten years or less.
As for why the duo split in the first place,
