SAG Awards 2017 - Cast Motion Picture by Videosuploaded123
We don't know why the cast of Hidden Figures was so shocked to win Best Ensemble at the SAG Awards. They brought the story of the unsung heroes of NASA to life with such heart and truth, they seemed as likely a cast as any to us.
After they beat out Captain Fantastic, Moonlight, Fences, and Manchester By The Sea, the talented cast — including Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae, Mahershala Ali, Kirsten Dunst, and Jim Parsons — took the stage and wasted no time.

But it was Taraji P. Henson who spoke with the ferocity of Cookie Lyon and the intelligence of Katherine Goble, saying:
"When we put our differences aside and we come together as a human race, we win. Love wins every time."

Octavia Spencer is having the best year EVER!
The actress killed it in Hidden Figures, is nominated for an Academy Award, and is the new recipient of Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Award, which has been given out to prominent women in entertainment since 1951.

So well deserved!
The Oscar winner arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts Thursday to much fanfare, even being treated to her own parade accompanied by Harvard students dressed in drag.
Later, they roasted Octavia onstage by making fun of her various movie roles, and the 46-year-old even participated in singing James Brown's I Feel Good with a student! Finally, Miz Spencer enjoyed some schadenfreude by hitting a student dressed as KellyAnne Conway in the face with a "poop" pie! Ha!
Ryan Reynolds is set to receive the Man of the Year Award next week!
Congrats to Octavia!
