It's official! The Fast & Furious gang will See You Again!
During Universal's CinemaCon panel in Las Vegas this week, Vin Diesel confirmed that Furious 8 is officially set to be released in theaters April 14, 2017!
Wow, that was fast (& furious! LOLz)
The 47-year-old took the audience back two years ago at the same panel when he and late co-star Paul Walker announced to move forward with the film that would become Furious 7. Holding back tears, Diesel reminisced:
This November, it'll be two years since Paul Walker passed away.
We can't imagine anyone else missing him as much as his daughter Meadow does. The young gal has posted a couple of throwback photos with her pops and it's so sweet how she's keeping the memory of her dad alive!
The 16-year-old girl shared the (above) precious picture on Monday of herself and Paul on Instagram and left it captionless.
Words aren't really needed for an adorable picture like that, it kinda explains itself!
The pictures Meadow has been sharing of her spending time with Paul definitely gives us all an insight into the special relationship they shared.

Meadow Walker is the coolest teenager in the world!
Well on Thursday, the 16-year-old revealed on Instagram that she's indeed in a great space..
A space filled with famous movie stars!
The (above) pic shows her with some of her father's co-stars in the hit blockbuster — including Vin Diesel and Elsa Pataky!
Furious 7 debuted at number one at the box office its opening weekend, and it looks like the film's soundtrack might take home the gold as well!
The soundtrack to the hit action movie is heading to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart by next week! The album is currently No. 2, which ranks the most popular albums of the week.
Many different types of consumption are considered when ranking the prestigious chart, including album sales, track sales, and streaming equivalent albums.
Fueling the soundtrack's tank is its hit single See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, which was the top selling song of the week! The music video to the emotional tune features clips of movie footage and pays touching tribute to the franchise's late star Paul Walker.
If this album ends up topping the chart, it will be the fourth soundtrack to earn the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200 chart in the past year following Frozen, Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 1 and the Empire TV soundtrack!
Do U think the Furious 7 soundtrack will take first place?
OMG! How adorable!
We mean… how action-packed!
Whoever came up with the idea for a parody of the megahit record-breaking blockbuster Furious 7 with cute kids is clever….
… but the kid playing Lil Jason Statham is a freakin' genius!!
UPDATE 4/17/15 8:00PM ET: See You Again is now the No. 1 song on the charts, as well as setting the record for the most Spotify plays in one day!
Furious 7 exploded into the box office opening weekend, earning over $143 million! Was your $$$ part of that sum??
Featured on the movie soundtrack is a song from Wiz Khalifa. Unlike the franchise's other high-energy tracks previously released, this song is more of a heartfelt collaboration between Wiz and Charlie Puth.
The music video for See You Again combines footage of the rapper and singer performing over clips of the movie, many of which include shots of muscle cars.
The cars obviously play to the theme of the action franchise, but they also pay tribute to the film series's late star Paul Walker, simply dedicated "for Paul" as the video fades to white at the end.

We knew this flick would have a big weekend, but WOW!
Furious 7 premiered worldwide this weekend, smashing box office records left and right. Domestically it earned $143 on opening weekend, and abroad it earned another $240.
These are humongous April numbers! The next closest was Captain America: The Winter Soldier which made $95 million, in comparison. It's also the biggest opening weekend of 2015, a record which was previously held by Fifty Shades of Grey's $85 million.
The $2.4 billion franchise expects to continue to break records with this film, but they'll have some challengers, like Avengers: Age of Ultron, which premieres on May 1st.
There's one big reason why this flick is doing so well though, and that's the fact that is spans most demographics. This weekend, the breakdown of Furious 7 moviegoers was 44 percent under 25 years old, 37 percent of whom were Hispanic, 25 percent were Caucasian, 24 percent were African American, and 10 percent were Asian.
Of course, a big draw for the film was that it was Paul Walker's last, following his tragic death in 2013. But overall, fans just really love this franchise.
It will be exciting to see how much this film continues to earn!
