DreamWorks has spent tens of millions of dollars to promote their latest animated flick, Monsters vs. Aliens. And that was just during the Super Bowl, when they aired a special, 3-D, three-minute sneak peek. Let's hope all that money spent pays off. Especially considering they probably had to pay the celebs voicing the movie some big bucks, like cutie Reese Witherspoon. But Witherspoon does do her part in helping promote the flick as well. On Monday, a fresh-looking Reese and co-star Kiefer Sutherland were at the Adlon hotel in Berlin, Germany, for a photocall to promote the movie. In the new issue of Elle magazine, Reese Witherspoon opens up a bit about her life, her divorce, and her current relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal. The 32-year-old mother of two said her split from Ryan Phillippe was "very humiliating and very isolating. But, by the way, if it's not painful, maybe it wasn't the right decision to marry to begin with. Those are the appropriate emotions." She makes a lot of sense! Reese adds, "When people get in your face and say, 'This will pass,' you think, Are they crazy? I'm never gonna feel any better than I feel right this minute and nothing's ever gonna make sense again. And I still have moments where I'm like, Nothing's ever gonna make sense again." As for her current beau, she says of GyllenHO, "He's fabulous. He really is a fantastic guy." What, too hard to say you love him? And what about those rumors that she's a Type A personality? Reese says, "I don't think I'm a control freak. I think I'm just fearful. I operate from a lot of fear, like, of things being lost or forgotten or neglected. Losing the spiritual rather than the physical." Oh, and she wants us to believe she's not shy of the paparazzi or interviews. "It's so funny to me that somehow I've been portrayed as a very, like, closed-off or uptight person. I'm very open," she says. Somehow, we're just not buying this whole interview! This is inneresting! According to new reports, DreamWorks is spending tens of millions of dollars to promote the animated movie Monsters vs. Aliens during this year's Super Bowl. A three-minute 'sneak peek' of the flick is scheduled to air during the big game…..in 3D!! Monsters vs. Aliens follows a group of 'Earthling' monsters who are out to save the world following an alien invasion and it features the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen and Kiefer Sutherland. There will be 150 million 3D glasses distributed free at Pepsi/SoBe Life Water displays at 28,000 locations including grocery, drug and electronics stores and big-box retailers (ie. Wal Mart, Target). DreamWorks' Animation chief executive Jeffrey Katzenberg called the stunt "perhaps the biggest media-advertising event in history." He also promised that the quality of the 3D will be superior to what has been done in the past. The glasses will use Intel InTru 3D and ColorCode 3-D, which updates the old red-blue Anaglyph system. The technology will also allow those without the glasses to see an almost ordinary image on the TV screen. Screw the game! We'll be tuning in to see this promotion! It's a new year and they're going on their second year together as a couple! But, it takes work. Mr. & Mrs. Perfect still have "date night" and alone time together away from the kids. On Sunday night, Witherspoon and GyllenHO attended the Lakers match in Los Angeles. And they even held hands throughout the game! Awwwwww. Is a wedding in the works for these two in '09???? According to a new survey, movie theater owners heart Will Smith big time because he reels in the big bucks. Tom Cruise's best friend was voted the star who generated the most box office revenue for theaters in an annual survey by Quigley Publishing Co.
