Back in December, we were seriously disappointed to hear that ABC/Dancing With the Stars decided NOT to feature a same-sex couple on the show.

Now, Mark Ballas has announced that he endorses same-sex partners on DWTS!

Here's what he had to say about it:

"I would be totally cool with it. There are other competitions where they have same sex couples. I'd support it. There is a slight inherent disadvantage. Two girls and two men just can't move like a man and a woman. But you can try."

And here's what Mark said about whether or not he'd dance with Ricky Martin next season:

"I'd be down!"

Who wouldn't??? And listen, Mark…if things don't work out with Ricky, you should give PEREZ a call! We would LOVE to dance with you on the show!!!

And the line up of shows is extremely inneresting!!

Starting on June 29th, the new season of the reinvigorated documentary series leads off with an episode all about Missy Elliott:

“Missy was great and very candid,” said Brad Abramson, series executive producer. “She talked for the first time about her [near fatal bout with] Graves disease, which she’s been battling for the last few years, and spoke in detail about the sexual abuse she experienced as a child.”

Sounds pretty powerful. Missy is definitely one of the stars we'd love to know more about. Just something about her seems like there'd be a really engrossing past.

So who else will be on this season?

How about: Ice Cube, Miranda Lambert, Mary J. Blige, Enrique Iglesias, Adam Lambert and Ricky Martin.

Holy. Shizz. We want to know about all of them!

We've liked what they've done with the show since the brought it back in 2009, and it'll be great to see them continue the trend.

We made Momma Perez extra happy by not only taking her to the Ricky Martin concert in Los Angeles on Saturday night but also arranging for her to meet the Puerto Rican superstar!

But enough about her, let's talk about us and the HUG we got from Ricky!

OMG! OMG! OMG!

To be hugged by Ricky Martin is like newborn puppies licking your face!

Sigh. So dreamy.

And his show was sooooo fab! It hit all the right notes! Great pacing. Great songs. Great band. Great dancers. Great production. And, of course, great Ricky.

Greatness!!!!!

Such an awesome way to celebrate our beautiful mami!

Truly unbelievable, and most importantly, WRONG.

Now that Ricky Martin has come out as a proud gay man, Cardinal Luis Aponte Martinez of San Juan Puerto Rico, has condemned the pop star and begged him to stop 'promoting' his homosexuality - all for the sake of his children!

He said:

“Personally, I admire Ricky for the great artistic gifts the Lord has endowed him, but please, for the love of his children, for whom I imagine he wants the best, try to set an example to our youth of the great values we all share, besides sex. The Roman Catholic church does not reject the homosexual [but] their immoral actions and behaviors, and trying to promote homosexuality or sexual promiscuity among our youth, indeed, is immoral regardless of where it comes from.”

Ugh. We wonder if he even realizes how deeply hurtful those comments must be.

Homosexuality and promiscuity DO NOT come hand in hand, and the fact that he would even suggest that him being a brave, open man unafraid to be honest about sexual preference is damaging to his CHILDREN, whom we're sure he would put everything aside in order to protect, is just shameful.

If anything, he's teaching his kids to accept and love all parts of yourself, which is something we thought that Roman Catholic Church ALSO teaches!

We think gay rights activist Pedro Julio Serrano said it best when he responded to the criticism with the following:

“Homophobia disguised as religion and under the pretext of freedom of speech is still homophobia and it kills. Enough of wanting to impose a moral vision of human sexuality. Sexual orientation is an innate characteristic of the human condition that cannot be changed, it is not a behavior, it is not a disease, and it is not synonymous with promiscuity as argued by Cardinal Aponte Martinez.”

Well said!

The Cardinal should be ASHAMED of himself, and we hope he seriously re-evaluates the kind of message he's trying to promote to families who may not have a 'traditional' background!

And, as for Ricky, we hope that he continues to do exactly what he's doing, because he is, and continues to be, an inspiration for many!

This kind of behavior needs to stop…now.

A self-proclaimed "apostol", Wanda Rolón, was busy spreading disgusting and hateful messages while Ricky Martin is made his first three tour stops in Puerto Rico this past weekend.

At a press conference last Thursday, she stated he was condemning Puerto Ricans to hell with his new Music, Soul and Sex tour, then stated that his confessed homosexuality was leading children and young people into the abominable world of homosexuality.

Ugh! Give us a break, lady!

Days before the press conference where she called upon her minions of anti-homosexuality activists to protest the artist's arrival, she wrote on her Facebook:

"This weekend Puerto Rico receives a man saved and brought from hell to the light, Nicky Cruz, while another one pretends to drag us all to hell. RM [Ricky Martin] has been proclaimed its ambassador (hell's, that is). Puerto Rico wake up, everyone praise the lord. This is the island of the Lamb. Alert God."

We don't think anyone spoke to God about the matter, but angry Ricky Martin fans reported the hate-speech through the website's abuse policy and thankfully had the message deleted.

According to Wanda Rolón and this group, the whole island will join Satan in the afterlife, since four shows were completely sold out.

Will Ricky be there too? Because in that case, we'll gladly join them.

Ricky has taken the high road and has not responded to these ignorant remarks, but at one of the concerts he did say, "Don't be afraid to live, Puerto Rico."

Exactly!

We feel bad for the brainwashed members of this so called "church" under the tragic misguidance of Wanda Rolón who are letting irrational fear control their lives.

Kicking off his tour in Puerto Rico on Friday night, Ricky showed off his new mohawk to the crowd.

We prefer his original look, but Ricky can pull off ANYTHING so we still think he looks hot.
