Some bad news for Rosie O'Donnell!

In the last year, since she left The View, traffic on Ro's website has fallen more than 85 percent.

Ouch!

Rosie went from 650,000 visitors a month to under 100,000, according to the Web measurement company compete.com.

O'Donnell announced this week that she is taking a month off from blogging.

Will anybody miss her????

In addition to pulling out from her work commitments, Rosie O'Donnell is also taking a long break from her blog.

The former talk show host just posted the following on her website:

"i am taking off august
in blog-ville

Rosie O'Donnell was set to perform at the Hollywood Bowl's presentation of Les Misérables in concert later this summer.

However, O'Donnell has just pulled out of the show.

The reason?

She's having a family "emergency."

Her eldest son has a broken his wrist.

Broadway veteran Ruth Williamson will be replacing Rosie in the production.

A statement from the Hollywood Bowl says Rosie has "regretfully withdrawn from the performances in order to care for her eldest son, who broke his wrist."

So it seems Rosie has to stay home and stare at it while the bones heal?

She's going to cancel on her fans over a cast?

Doesn't she have her wife Kelli to help out and look after the kids????

And the queen of nice controversy is thisclose to being back!

Yes, Rosie O'Donnell is said to have a potential new show in the works with NBC.

According to reports, Peacock honchos Ben Silverman and Jeff Zucker are said to like Rosie's idea for a new show, one that she's had for a long time.

They hope to have the show on the air by 2009 with a similar feel to The Ed Sullivan Show.

Supposedly Rosie would like to do it live and from a Broadway theater type of setting. Somewhere that she could host skits and different acts - comedy, music, etc.

Rosie has apparently been shopping the idea around since 2002, though no one's picked it up.

We're not sure if the timing is all that great.

Jay Leno's contract will be ending in May 2009 when he steps down from The Tonight Show and reports are that NBC is very keen on having him do some type of prime-time variety show.

The Internets just izn't good enough for Rosie O'Donnell.

A new report claims that the former View hostess is in active talks with NBC to return to television with her own weekly primetime variety show.

This is a bit surprusing because less than a year ago the Peacock's cable news arm, MSNBC, was close to giving the funny lady her own one-hour showcase. But when word of the discussions leaked out before the deal was set, O'Donnell claimed the network "panicked" and the deal was pulled.

Let's hope the same thing doesn't happen now.

We'd love to see Elizabitch Hasselbeck as her first guest!

Ancient gossip columnist Cindy Adams, 90 years old, is reporting that Rosie O'Donnell and her long-term partner, Kelli, are calling it quits.

Says Adams:

WE'RE hearing that the togetherness of Rosie O'Donnell and Kelli Carpenter, the handsome blond gal Rosie calls her wife, may not be so together anymore. They married a few years ago in San Francisco. I remember excited Kelli then showing me her new driver's license bearing the name Kelli O'Donnell. Whatever other difficulties such a breakup might cause, there is also a houseful of adopted kids they're raising.

Well, too bad that's not true!

Rosie herself denied those claims exclusively to PerezHilton.com.

And, she joked to us, "cindy adams and i r having a full blown affair. she is a lesbian."

There you have it!

Rosie O'Donnell was on former frienemy Howard Stern's radio show this week and it was pretty explosive.

The dykon was even more forthcoming than usual, as Stern has a unique way of getting people to be very candid.
