The American Idol star — who was legally obligated to star in the flick after her big win — says she did NOT want to be there!
In fact, it was so bad it made her cry! She admitted:
Kelly Clarkson's life DEFINITELY does not suck!
And this is all because of her eight-month-old daughter River Rose!
In People magazine's March 9, 2015 issue, the 32-year-old gushes how motherhood has completely changed her world!
Apparently, when Kelly reached out to some fellow famous singers to be on her Piece by Piece album, John Legend was the ONLY celeb who agreed to collab with her!
Yeah, Kel's had some duds in the past, but Breakaway should earn her enough street cred for life!
Kelly spoke with BBC Radio 1 about her issues, saying:

The winner of American Idol season 11 is suing the producers of the show!
Phillip lodged a petition to sever all ties with 19 Entertainment, who he says have been forcing his career in directions he doesn't like.
He alleges that he is forced to perform for Idol sponsors and lacks creative control to the point he didn't even learn his album's title until it was publicly announced.
In a statement, Phillip recognized that this may seem like biting the hand that feeds. He said:
