Carrie Underwood is always a breath of fresh air.
On Wednesday, the Church Bells singer was honored at the CMT Artists of the Year Awards in Nashville, Tennessee — and she stopped by to chat with ET about her many accomplishments and what's to come in the future, both personally and professionally.
As you know, the 33-year-old welcomed baby boy Isaiah with husband Mike Fisher back in February 2015, and the country superstar hit the road for her Storyteller tour earlier this year.
Reflecting, Miz Underwood said:
"Remember Kaitlyn — we all thought she was gonna go with Nick, and she picked Shawn on The Bachelorette. Jennifer Hudson lost on American Idol — our fellow Americans voted for Fantasia! I'm telling you, sh*t happens in America. They thought Jennifer Hudson had it in the bag. Don't let Fantasia win on Nov. 8!"

EXCLUSIVE! Hillary Clinton Proves We're Stronger Together With Campaign Theme Music Video From American Idol Finalist Jessica Sanchez!
This is some sound advice!
With Donald Trump currently focusing all of his energy on handling blow back from his "Grab them by the p*ssy" leak and subsequent sexism scandals, that leaves Hillary Clinton all alone on the campaign trail.
Luckily, unlike her opponent, politics is actually her job… which means she's perfectly fine moving towards November 8 out in front!
While we had already been treated to HRC's campaign song Stronger Together itself — it's currently No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100, btw! — we're honored to exclusively be premiering the accompanying video for you today (complete with DNC balloons, of course!).
And with a team like Bruce Roberts, Carole Bayer Sager, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, and Tracy Young behind them… Jessica is using her expertise as a runner-up to ensure that Hillary's a winner!
But can we say it's really the most inspirational campaign song in history??
…Yes we can.

Another day, another new look for Rihanna!
On Monday, the Work singer posted the (above) photo on Instagram of her new dreadlocks, and we are totally loving it!
The 28-year-old added the caption:
Apparently, the musician got extensions for her new role in Ocean's 8, the all-female Ocean's Eleven reboot. According to a source:
"Rihanna tries to have a lot of input in the film… Recently, she requested that her character should have dreadlocks."
RiRi also wore dreads when she performed on the American Idol finale back in 2012.

The uplifting track debuted at the Democratic National Convention in July, and was written by Carole Bayer Sager, Bruce Roberts, and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds.
