This Teen Mom Overcame Societal Pressure And Graduated High School As Valedictorian — You Won't Believe How Much Money She Got In Scholarships!

Trameka Pope had to overcome a lot during her adolescent years, but not only did she exceed expectations, she blew them completely out of the water!

The recent grad started her high school career off a little different than her peers — a homeless youth with a pregnancy before she even began Freshman year — but that didn't hold her back.

Despite the stereotypes that go with being a teenage mother, this teen mom was able to not only graduate, but she was the Valedictorian of her class!

Trameka just graduated from Wendell Phillips High in Chicago this past week, and her outstanding grades and extracurriculars as a cheerleader and AP student earned her an unbelievable number of scholarships.

We're talking over $600,000!

Chris Norton has been in a wheelchair for the past five years.

Back in 2010, the high school senior was playing in a football game when he suffered a spinal cord injury that left him unable to walk.

Doctors told Chris that he'd be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life… but the class of '15 student was determined to prove them wrong by walking at graduation!

And with the help of his girlfriend fiancée Emily Summers, Chris was able to master his five years of physical therapy and walk across the stage to accept his diploma on Sunday.

Taylor Swift could make a Montana high school class' year with one phone call!

Finals week is super stressful for anybody in school, but for one group of students in Billings, Montana, the lovely Taylor Swift could possibly make their lives a lot easier this week!

Swift, who pretty much makes everything look easy, is the focal point of a fun little wager between a teacher and his students at Skyview High School in the Big Sky Country town.

Sir Elton John has been a music megastar for decades, but it's clear he hasn't forgotten where he came from!

The legend recently flew to England to join his old classmates for a school reunion!

The singer took to Instagram to share the fun! He posted a big group photo (above), captioning the snap:

"Lunch at home with dear old school friends. Many of whom I haven't seen for 50 years! It was as if we never left school. So much laughter and so many wonderful memories. #ShareTheLove#PinnerCountyGrammarSchool #Classof58"

We don't hear too often about celebs taking the time to go to reunions like this, but Elton hopped on a plane to celebrate with his former schoolmates!

In fact, he really loved seeing one old friend in particular!

Stars! They're just like us!

Except Elton probably didn't get all anxious or sweaty trying to come up with cool things to say he's done since he left.
