Selena Gomez is done talking about her rehab stint in 2014!
Her newly released interview sheds a lot more light on her past, and explains why she chose to enter a treatment facility without a single explanation.
Secretly battling the auto-immune disease lupus, Selly was treated with chemotherapy during her two-week stay.
But when asked about her diagnosis, the 23-year-old provided:
"First off, this is something that everyone always wants to fixate on. I got diagnosed with lupus. My mom had a very public miscarriage. So I had to cancel my tour. I needed time to just be okay. And I was going through leukemia and I went to two different locations for those treatments. It's really frustrating, because I am 100 percent allowed to have that, but I think people just want to have some sort of—"
The writer, Zach Baron, did note that Selena probably meant chemotherapy instead of leukemia.
She continued to explain:
Disney darling Olivia Holt is not only killing it on the TV screen — she's also making a name for herself in music!

Get ready to Slow Down
the song the car with Selena Gomez!
Now, we're sure the host of The Late, Late Show knows carpool karaoke is probably the program's most popular portion, so we aren't surprised that his inaugural upload teased an upcoming guest for the sing-along segment.
But the English comedian's special snap is actually a double-whammy, because that future co-pilot is none other than Miz Gomez!
The 37-year-old and the former Disney darling posed for a precious pic together inside the carpool karaoke car, which is getting us SUPER excited for Selly's segment!
The Trolls actor captioned the silly selfie:

The superstar singer is about to head out on the North American leg of her Revival Tour in another month, and while we're not entirely sure what to expect, we are getting some good hints…

Selena Gomez continues to grow her empire!
Selly will executive produce the untitled drama series, which is set in a low income Latino neighborhood and told through the eyes of an 18-year-old girl destined for greatness!
Airing on Freeform (the network formerly known as ABC Family), the series stems from an idea by Kaplan, who was inspired while attending an event that featured a speech from El Lay teenager Ana Cobarrubias.
The high school senior — who now serves as a consultant on the project — got a standing ovation for her speech about making a difference in her poor East LA neighborhood, and her determination to become a strong and confident woman despite society's expectations.
So it sounds like the show will be loosely based on Ana's story — a teen drama that should definitely pair nicely with the rest of Freeform's lineup!
We have a feeling Selena won't be starring in the series, but here's to hoping she shows up as a guest star at some point.
Are YOU excited for the Latina Empire?
