Sharon Osbourne Defends Mariah Carey's 'Technical Nightmare' Of A New Year's Eve Performance — But Thinks The Singer Should Have Done THIS To Save It!
On Tuesday's The Talk, the British co-host weighed in on Mimi's performance issues during Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and broke down her team's claims that the superstar was "sabotaged" with a bad earpiece.
While Ozzy Osbourne's wife felt sorry Mariah had to go through "a technical nightmare," she believed the performance could have been salvaged had the songstress explained the malfunction a bit more properly to the crowd.

Who knew daytime TV could be so dramatic?!
On Tuesday night, The Talk's Julie Chen stopped by Watch What Happens Live! to discuss the never-ending drama with The View and she did NOT hold back!
The host explained:
Women in the entertainment industry are in a lose-lose situation!
On Thursday, Hilary Duff stopped by The Talk and revealed she was "pigeonholed" in Hollywood after having her son Luca "too soon". This candid conversation came after the former Disney darling praised Jennifer Aniston who recently called out society's view that women are "useless" if they don't have a conventional family life!

According to sources, E! is developing a daytime panel show that will rival programs such as The Talk and The View. This new series will center around celebrity news and gossip.
A network spokesperson confirmed the report by saying:
"We will be conducting a test run of our successful fast-paced, water-cooler digital format in daytime later this month. This is completely unrelated to our successful slate of reality programming, including pop-culture phenomenon [‘Kardashians'], which remains one of the most-watched series in cable."
Even though the Kardashians are still insanely popular, ratings for KUWTK have declined during its 12th season. It's hard not to see a correlation between this downward spiral and the network wanting to branch out into new territories.
This isn't the first time E! has experimented with a new format. Their first original scripted show — The Royals — was renewed for a third season this year.

Happy Halloween, Mr. President.
That's because hosts Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler, Sara Gilbert, and Sheryl Underwood took part in their 2nd Annual Rocktober event during Monday's episode.
For those of you unfamiliar with CBS' Rocktober Lip Sync War, it's basically an opportunity for the quintet to dress up as iconic musicians and lip sync for
bragging rights a crystal microphone trophy!
We don't want to give too much away, but with covers sung by Cher, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Lionel Richie, and Little Richard… it was almost impossible for Lip Sync Battle host LL Cool J to pick a winner!
Ch-ch-check out all five performances from The Talk… as well as the eventual champ (below)!!!
Selma Blair's humility is so inspiring.
On Wednesday, Ms. Blair appeared on the Talk to discuss her frightening outburst aboard a plane this past June.
As we previously reported, the actress was taken off a Delta flight over her adverse reaction to mixing prescription pills and alcohol. The star's son and ex-partner were also aboard the plane at the time of the incident.
Now that a few months have passed, S.B. is getting REAL about what really went down and how she's moving forward.
Speaking on the eye-opening moment, Selma revealed:
"I am someone who should never drink and I rarely do and I don't drink anymore, but I did. I was going through something. I had a glass of wine, someone gave me a pill that I thought was something that I had taken before, which I don't take on a regular basis. It was something completely different. A very bad choice and I had a total psychotic black out. It was horrible and frightening and I had empathy for myself actually afterwards because actually it was so out of character for me, especially now that I am a mother."
Well, at least the mom now knows her limits. Sometimes it takes a bad experience to set you straight!
The beauty went on to add:
"It must have been terrifying. It was terrifying…My son was with his father and he had slept through it. I knew he was going to sleep…and that's why I took this pill any how…bad choice all around. Totally own it, will not happen again. I keep it alive in me with me every day, I forgive myself, but I keep it alive."
What a wise outlook. Selma is truly a class act — everyone makes mistakes.
So, what do YOU think of the 44-year-old's interview?
