Alfonso Ribeiro Says There's Basically ZERO Chance Of A Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air Revival — But Will Smith Has Reunion Plans!
There's good news…. and then there's bad news!!
But first, let's get the disappointing deets out of the way.
In a new interview with Digital Spy, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro decided to squash any rumors of a possible revival before they can even pick up steam. According to Carlton, it's not happening:
"The odds of a revival? I would say 0.01%. I can't say it would never happen, but I would say there are a lot of people that would revolt if it did, me being one of them!"
Dannng. You can't expect to take a cast reunion pic and NOT have fans wishing and dreaming they'd come back to TV screens!
He even continued, adding a remake wouldn't be the best idea either:
While he's "not a real tough critic" when it comes to the rival studio's superhero flicks, he did have one critique for Suicide Squad: the squad was way too big!
Speaking to the audience, the 37-year-old said:
UPDATE 8:10 P.M. EST: Ryan has now confirmed the casting news with a ridiculous, NSFW tweet that (sort of) welcomes Brolin to the mix:
The fuck, Fox! You can't play 2 characters in the same universe!! Josh Brolin was in Sicario and I was in Sabrina The Teenage Witch. pic.twitter.com/AQCRp1aWKg

Ryan Reynolds has had fans in a fervor to see Cable on the big screen ever since his fourth wall-breaking stinger at the end of Deadpool announcing the fan favorite mutant would be in the sequel.
According to THR, the Hail Caesar star is signed on for a 4-picture deal, which will likely include an X-Force movie and possibly a solo spinoff.
This will mark Brolin's third major comic book movie role playing megavillain Thanos for Marvel Studios and DC Comics cowboy Jonah Hex for Warner Bros. (The less said about that flick the better!)
Cable is Deadpool's longtime frenemy, a super-powered soldier from the future (who also happens to be the son of X-Men Cyclops and Jean Grey) who perpetually has to put up with Wade Wilson's nonsense while trying to save the world.
This seems like fantastic casting to us as Brolin was able to effortlessly steal the spotlight from Will Smith as super straight agent K in Men In Black III. Of course, he'll have to bring all that deadpan charm and more to combat RyRey's nonstop quips.
What do YOU think of the casting??
It turns out the teen had to deal with his famous father Will Smith cutting off his hair and then posting the pics for all to see on social media!
On Tuesday, the actor took to his Facebook page to reveal his son's shorter new look on the set of their film Life In A Year. Will even tried on the chopped off ponytail for himself…
Dads can be so embarrassing. LOLz!
What a CLASSIC Jaden Smith move.
On Monday, Will Smith's son took to Twitter to announce he's currently in need of a CEO for his fashion line. And it looks as though the Hollywood scion is taking applications from the popular social media site.
The Get Down actor wrote:
In true Janet Hubert form, the original Aunt Viv is bringing the sass!!!
As we told you yesterday, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air cast had an epic reunion at Nobu in Malibu on Monday — and Miz Hubert is here to not only slam Alfonso Ribeiro, but to announce her plans for a memoir to expose everything that happened behind the scenes before she left the sitcom in 1993.
In response to seeing the picture of Will Smith and co., the 61-year-old took to an unverified Facebook page called "Blacktress Janet Hubert" with a vintage clip of her time as Vivian with the fiery message:
Now this is a story all about how… the cast from The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reunited and made all of our '90s dreams come true!
The gang was chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool out at Nobu in Malibu for an afternoon together on Monday — and we've got the picture proof (above)!
In the photo, the fresh prince himself, Will Smith, posed alongside the rest of the Banks crew: Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton), Tatyana Ali (Ashley), Karyn Parsons (Hilary), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian no. 2), and Joseph Marcell (beloved butler Geoffrey).
The only person who was truly missed from the reunion was the late actor James Avery (Uncle Phil), who passed away at the age of 68 back in 2013 after complications during open heart surgery.
Ribeiro shared the moment on his Instagram, writing:
