Good new for the those Scrubs fans that remain out there.

As you might have heard by now, the show is being picked up by ABC for another season. It's likely to start airing in January 2009.

And, rumors are that the sitcom might continue on for a few more seasons with new cast members along the way.

Looks like they're trying to make it survive like ER did.

There's a (strong?) possibility that Scrubs lead Zach Braff won't be returning.

ABC entertainment president Steve McPherson said, "Certainly when we picked it up we had to make the decision based on this one season because, you know, there is a likelihood that that would be it."

He adds, "We do think there's an opportunity after that — talking to Zach, talking to Bill — and whether and/or all of the cast is a part of that, I still think there's a great amount of growth there. We do think that it will not hopefully be a one-season situation. But we'll just take that step by step."

Forget about future seasons.

Zach Braff just posted a MySpace bulletin that confirms "one of the worst-kept secrets in town" — that Scrubs is indeed moving from NBC to ABC.

It is a rare rare move for a series to move from one network to another!

Here's the bulletin for those of you who aren't 'friends' with Zach:

Subject: Scrubs moves to ABC

Dear friends,

Many of you have been understandably confused by the Fairy Tale episode of Scrubs serving as the series finale. It was not. I was not allowed to say it until today, but Scrubs will be moving to ABC for its final season. We are currently filming the 8th and final season. The true finale of the show will air on ABC in the fall. NBC merely promoted the Fairy Tale episode as the finale, as it was the last episode they owned.

Also, several of you were very confused by the fact that Dr. Kelso and Laverne were still working at the hospital in the Fairy Tale episode. Because of the writer's strike, the last remaining episodes for NBC were aired out of order. This is why Dr. Kelso was still chief of medicine. That was not Laverne however, for those of you who have been following closely; it was a new nurse "Shirley" who no one thinks looks anything like Laverne except for JD.

Hope this clears some things up.

Did they move in together???

Zac Braff and his new girlfriend, actress Shiri Appleby, sure are getting domestic!

The pair spent a busy Sunday together. They started off with breakfast at Hugo's in West Hollywood. Next they went refrigerator shopping at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse in Burbank.

Finally, they ended up at the Treeland Nursery Farms in Calabasas, where they browsed for trees.

And then they went home and made a sex tape!

The Scrubs star just posted the following on his official blog:

"I'm not sure when or why the tabloid angle on me was decided that I am a cad. I would have much rather it had been that I am secretly a dentist or that I love soup. I am in fact, merely doing what every other single 32 year old man in NYC is doing this summer. I am dating. If you must read that stuff, please don't digest it as fact. It is probably one of the only real shitty things one has to get used to when living in the public eye, but I suppose one of the benefits of this blog is that you can hear it directly from me. I haven't had a vacation in 6 years and so I decided to take June and July off. I am having the best summer of my life! I am so happy here!

I'm hanging out with my New York friends, my Jersey boys, my family and loving every single second of it. And yes; I am dating. When we shoot Scrubs I spend every waking hour of my life in an abandoned and haunted hospital. All I can date there are ghosts and they tend to be horrible snugglers. So anyway, blah, blah, blah. Don't believe the hype."
